Research And Application Design Practice Of Assimilation Learning With Gamification Experience In Web Layout Learning

Web layout knowledge is essential for web designers and developers.Since the existing teaching paths and teaching materials can’t fully meet the needs of practitioners,rapid technological development and other reasons,the learning efficiency of practitioners is affected.Further more,the short supply of highquality technical personnel and uneven skill level of technical personnel leads to the obstruction of web graphic interface design and development innovation.In order to solve above problems,this research applies assimilated learning theory and gamification thinking to basic web layout knowledge learning and carry out relevant research and design practice.Firstly,the status of assimilation learning theory and gamification theory in education application is sorted out through the literature analyzing.Then the"pioneer organizer" strategy of assimilation learning and the Octalysis method of gamification theory are deeply studied as theoretical guidance.Secondly,target users’learning habits,learning problems and learning drive preferences were found out from questionnaire survey;not only the results of user survey but also the theoretical knowledge were applied to analysis the web layout teaching materials and computer technology education products on the market.As result,a knowledge architecture which is suitable for assimilation learning was constructed and the effective gamification octagonal behavior-driven elements for learning was extracted.Finally,those gamification design elements in terms of accomplishment,ownership,empowerment and other angles of the Octalysis method were applied to carry out the design practice of web layout learning App based on the characteristics and needs of the target population.The expression and verification of gamification assimilation learning design were completed in the aspects of web layout knowledge architecture for assimilation learning,learning function,interaction,and visual design,and a product that helps relevant practitioners to learn the knowledge of web layout efficiently and deeply was produced.In summary,this research and design practice of web layout knowledge learning was carried out based on the gamification Octalysis method and the assimilation learning theory study.On the one hand,the research result helps web layout learners to do better in understanding and holding the knowledge in depth by assimilation learning with gamification experience,which also improves practical level and promote the innovative development of web page graphical interface design.On the other hand,this also provides a reference for the teaching strategy of other computer technology in digital information age.
