| With the vigorous development of the internet industry and the comprehensive coverage of 4G and 5G networks in recent years,people’s daily habits have gradually been changed by the rising trend of the internet.Online video has become an indispensable part of people’s daily life and entertainment.Despite the rapid development of China’s online video industry in recent years and the continuous increase in users of major online video websites,currently,major online video websites have been in a difficult position to make profits and sustain losses for a long time.In addition,in recent years,the number of downstream users and the length of use of the industry have gradually saturated,and the market is transforming from an incremental market to a stock market.With the overall Internet industry in a sluggish environment under objective conditions,the online video industry has gradually become white hot in the upstream,with Youku,i Qiyi,Tencent Video as the head,and Bilibili,Tiktok,Douyu as the impactors.At present,the vast majority of video websites attract users with copyright and self-made content,and generate main revenue through advertising business.But Bilibili has created a unique profit model,with users based in the Zera.95% of the content is uploaded by users,with only a small amount of direct advertising.Its business covers fields such as long and short videos,games,live streaming,e-commerce,membership,etc.It has built a unique community culture and has been widely recognized by the market.Therefore,this article selects Bilibili as the research object.Firstly,it elaborates on its company overview.Secondly,it analyzes the current situation of its profit model from three perspectives:profit factors,development strategy,and financial indicators,and analyzes the problems and reasons that exist in its profit model.Finally,based on the principle of optimizing the selection of profit models and the discussion above,an analysis is conducted on the current profit models of domestic and foreign online video websites.Combining their advantages,disadvantages,and feasibility,the optimization of future Bilibili profit models is proposed.The optimization of future Bilibili profit models is evaluated from three perspectives: profit factors,development strategies,and financial indicators,supplemented by the implementation of the four major future profit models,Provide feasible suggestions for optimizing future profit models.This article believes that Bilibili’s diversified business development is currently in a good trend,with balanced development of various businesses and in a stage of rapid expansion.At present,the profit model is operating well.However,the current exploration of profit models on the revenue side is still relatively limited,and their ability to monetize traffic is not strong.The profit model still needs to be improved.The core competitiveness of Bilibili lies in its impeccable and enviable user loyalty and community culture.The younger generation is the main force of China’s future cultural and entertainment consumption.Bilibili needs to leverage its advantages to find optimal future profit models,continuously enrich consumption scenarios,construct its own bottom logic of profit models,enhance market competitiveness,and break through profit difficulties as soon as possible. |
