| China is currently facing tremendous employment pressure,and platform flexible employment and labor has become the choice of various enterprises and workers.With the easy access to communication platforms,the original news production process has also undergone drastic changes,and the phenomenon of news generalization has become increasingly common,leading to the emergence of digital journalism.The term"digital journalism"refers to those who produce news and information on online platforms as freelancers,who not only gain the flexibility of self-employment through the platforms,but also have a sensitive and inspired mode of content output.To better understand the composition and work motivations of digital freelancers in journalism,a sample of case studies and interviews were selected across several platforms.Their work motivations are mainly to seek free and flexible work experience,to broaden their career direction and to realize their self-worth.However,digital journalism workers also face many challenges and dilemmas in news production.For example,they lack a stable source of income,benefits such as insurance,and industry regulations.In real life,they also face dilemmas such as unpaid wages and employers who do not keep their word.However,with their own skills and efforts,they gradually get rid of these dilemmas and realize their self-worth and career development.From a social perspective,we should explore a more favorable living environment for digital journalism workers.First,we should establish industry norms and standards to protect the rights and benefits of digital journalism workers.Second,we should strengthen training and support for digital journalism workers to improve their professional quality and creative skills.Finally,the government should strengthen policy support and protection for digital journalism workers to provide them with a more stable and sustainable employment environment.Digital journalists are a new group of workers and they play an important role in news production.More attention should be paid to their rights and social benefits to provide them with a more favorable living environment,thereby promoting the professional development of digital journalism workers and the progress of the industry.At the same time,this is also a reasonable reference for us to better grasp the tide of the times,secure people’s employment and drive the country’s economic development. |
