Investigation And Research On The Current Status Of Development And Promotion Of Local Digital Resources In Prefecture-level Public Libraries In Shandong Provinc

China’s time-honored and splendid civilization,abundant material resources,and vast territory have given birth to distinctive resources with local characteristics.They have become not only important representatives of Chinese fine culture but also unique and valuable cultural resources.As the main venues for the protection and inheritance of Chinese excellent culture,many public libraries have been exploiting local characteristic resources.Shandong Province is rich in historical and cultural resources.All the municipal libraries have paid attention to local characteristic digital resources,which reflects the construction level of local digital characteristic resources in each city of Shandong Province to a certain extent.In this context,this study takes municipal libraries in Shandong Province as the object of investigation and surveys the development and promotion of their local characteristic resources.This study mainly adopts online investigation and case analysis to investigate and analyze the development and promotion status of local characteristic digital resources in municipal public libraries in Shandong Province,then find problems and propose targeted improvement strategies.Firstly,an investigation was conducted from the perspective of the development of local characteristic digital resources.Through online investigation,the development situation of resources was analyzed from the aspects of the development model of local characteristic digital resources,development form of resources,development type of resources,development theme of resources,management situation,and the existing achievements were summarized.It was found that the municipal libraries in Shandong Province present the characteristics of multiple development databases,rich forms of platform development,highlighting local characteristics in resource construction,and focused resource construction.Secondly,the methods of online investigation and case analysis were comprehensively adopted,from the perspectives of brand building and online operation,combined with analysis of excellent cases,the situation of municipal libraries in Shandong Province in promoting local characteristic digital resources was investigated and analyzed.The investigation shows that Nishan Academy has become a local characteristic brand covering all the municipal public libraries in Shandong Province.Moreover,new media platforms like We Chat Official Account have been used for the utilization of local characteristic resources.Jinan Library and Zibo Library make good use of local characteristic resources,and they are typical representatives among all the public libraries in Shandong Province.Then this paper emphatically analyzes the problems in the process of development and utilization.Through investigation and analysis,it can be seen that municipal libraries in Shandong Province have some problems in the development of local characteristic resources,such as lack of inter-resource interaction,lack of depth in resource processing,to-be-improved service awareness,and lack of publicity and exposure.Based on the aforementioned investigation and analysis,this paper puts forward some countermeasures,such as enhancing the operation guarantee of library resources,strengthening the construction of serialized brands,transforming to demand-oriented service,and innovating publicity methods.Finally,this paper summarizes the research content,analyzes the shortcomings of the research process,and presents the prospect of future research.
