In the past ten years,blockchain technology has developed rapidly with each passing day,and a variety of blockchain architectures have been born,such as public blockchains,private blockchains,and consortium blockchains.A number of excellent blockchain platform represented by Bitcoin,Ethereum,and Hyperledger Fabric have emerged.Blockchain applications based on these blockchain platforms are flourishing and operating in various fields of society.With the development of the blockchain application ecology,each application has accumulated a huge amount of business data,and there is also a real need to interact and establish associations with other blockchain applications.However,due to the existence of multi-dimensional heterogeneity and independent security boundaries in the implementation of different blockchain platforms,it is difficult to achieve data sharing between applications developed on different blockchain platforms safely and efficiently,thus forming "data islands",which hinders the further development of blockchain technology.Therefore,blockchain cross-chain technology emerged as the times require,and has become a key link in the evolution of blockchain ecology to the next stage.Blockchain cross-chain technology has brought dawn to the interconnection between homogeneous and heterogeneous blockchains.At present,there are four mainstream cross-chain technologies,namely notary mechanism,hash time lock,side chain/Relay and distributed private keys.However,there are still problems such as the lack of cross-chain research on alliance chains,the lack of versatility of heterogeneous blockchain cross-chain methods,and the lack of cross-chain access control mechanisms.In response to the above problems and cross-chain requirements,this paper researches and implements the cross-chain technology of heterogeneous alliance chains.The main work of this paper is as follows:1.Designed a blockchain cross-chain interaction model that supports heterogeneous consortium blockchains.In view of the difficulty of interconnection and intercommunication between different underlying architectures of heterogeneous blockchains,this paper designs a heterogeneous blockchain cross-chain model that supports consortium blockchains.Without changing the implementation of the original consortium blockchains,the convenient access and cross-chain operation of the blockchain can be realized.Cross-chain users can simply and efficiently initiate cross-chain requests through the original blockchain application,and complete cross-chain calls to the target blockchain after authentication.2.Proposed a blockchain cross-chain interaction method that supports heterogeneous consortium chains.By studying a variety of existing cross-chain technologies and open source alliance chain platforms,this paper proposes a heterogeneous blockchain cross-chain method that includes three sub-methods,including heterogeneous blockchain cross-chain identity management methods,heterogeneous blockchain cross-chain trusted verification methods and heterogeneous blockchain cross-chain calling methods.This enables unified management and authentication of on-chain and off-chain users,verification of the operating mechanism of heterogeneous blockchains,and completion of cross-chain calls through smart contracts and transaction mechanisms.3.Implemented a heterogeneous blockchain cross-chain interaction scheme that supports consortium blockchains.According to the general cross-chain requirements,this paper starts with deep thinking on the architecture design of heterogeneous blockchain cross-chain system.Based on two alliance chain architectures Hyperledger Fabric and FISCO BCOS,a heterogeneous blockchain cross-chain system is designed and implemented.The blockchain application based on the heterogeneous consortium chain platform can easily,efficiently and safely access the system and make cross-chain calls.This paper also tests the function and performance of the heterogeneous blockchain cross-chain system,and the evaluation results prove the feasibility of the system.
