The magnetoelectric-mechanical antenna is considered an essential solution for the miniaturization of very low-frequency antenna,unlike the radio frequency antenna with mature theory and technology,the current research on the intrinsic characteristics and signal modulation of magnetoelectric-mechanical antenna still has some shortcomings.Meanwhile,the existing magnetoelectric-mechanical antenna generally has low bandwidth problems,robust nonlinear,and weak radiation ability.Therefore,this paper studies the radiation principle,impedance characteristics,nonlinear behavior,and signal modulation methods of the magnetoelectric-mechanical antenna and designs a high-performance multilayer magnetoelectric-mechanical antenna structure and the communication platform compatible with it systemically.The three main research tasks of this paper are as follows:1.This paper studies the impedance characteristics of magnetoelectric-mechanical antennas.It shows that magnetoelectric-mechanical antenna does not need the introduction of a matching network near the resonant segment and the differences in the power capacity and radiation capacity of magnetoelectric-mechanical antennas under different mechanical quality factors,which provides a reference for the design of high-performance magnetoelectricmechanical antennas configuration.2.This paper designs magnetoelectric-mechanical antennas with different volume ratios of piezoelectric and piezomagnetic materials and obtains their response curves under a high bidirectional driving field.The nonlinear material source and suppression method are revealed,which could provide a reference for the magnetoelectric-mechanical antenna configuration design with high performance.3.This paper proposes a high-performance multilayer magnetoelectric-mechanical antenna structure.According to the test results,the multilayer magnetoelectric-mechanical antenna can generate magnetic induction intensity of 108 f T at 100 m.Moreover,this paper designs a communication system.It has completed the error-free code communication test up to 5m,which verifies the feasibility of a magnetoelectric-mechanical antenna for low-frequency communication.This paper further supplements the theoretical basis of the magnetoelectric-mechanical antenna.In addition,the communication system based on high-performance multilayer magnetoelectric-mechanical antenna proposed in this paper is also expected to further expand the practical application of magnetoelectric-mechanical antenna in different scenarios.
