| With the rapid development of network communication technology and its integration with the industrial manufacturing field,the pace of industrial informatization is accelerating.To realize deterministic transmission,the IEEE TSN working group has introduced the Time Sensitive Network(TSN)technology as a novel Ethernet standard that revolutionizes conventional Ethernet by offering time-deterministic services via a range of standardized mechanisms.TSN introduces a TimeAware Shaper(TAS)that precisely controls the forwarding of data frames with different priorities to support deterministic transmission with low latency and low jitter.In the industrial field,TSN has gained broad consensus and it is now considered the evolutionary direction for the nextgeneration industrial network.However,research on TSN test technology is still in its infancy at home and abroad,and there is a lack of perfect test tools or systems,especially for the evaluation and analysis of the important time-aware traffic scheduling performance in TSN,which brings obstacles to the actual implementation of the technology.This paper investigates the research background and significance of TSN,and introduces the research status and key technologies of TSN.The TSN test technology and its research status are analyzed emphatically.On this basis,the test requirements of TSN are summarized,and the TSN test platform is constructed according to the test requirements.After the evaluation,the platform can test and verify the key functions and performance of TSN equipment and networks,and further support the evaluation and analysis of scheduling performance of time-aware traffic in the network.The main work of this paper is summarized as follows:(1)A TSN test platform scheme consisting of a terminal test unit and a test configuration platform is proposed.Based on this scheme,a timeaware traffic test function is designed,including a time synchronization module,a traffic generator/receiver,and a traffic analysis module.The function and implementation mechanism of the module are analyzed in detail,and the implementation of the TSN test platform is completed by combining the TSN time-aware shaper with high-precision time performance and the sending and receiving packet test tool.(2)Completing the functional performance evaluation of the TSN test platform.Based on the TSN standard,the test objectives and content are put forward,the test plan is designed,and the test cases are designed according to the test plan,and the time-aware traffic test function module of the TSN test platform is evaluated.The results show that the performance of the TSN test platform is comparable to that of commercial network testers in terms of sending and receiving packet jitter and measurement accuracy.The TSN test platform has added a scheduled packet sending function for time-aware traffic testing,and the time error of timing packet sending is as low as 20ns.(3)Combined with the network example,the application test of the TSN test platform is realized.The train communication network(Train Communication Network,TCN)is selected as a network example,the business flow is configured according to the data type defined in the IEC 61375-3-4 standard,and the actual test of various topologies is carried out.The results show that the TSN test platform can effectively evaluate the delay and delay jitter of time-aware traffic in the TCN network. |
