Research On Risk Management Of IPv6 Upgrading Project Of A Company

Nowadays,with the rapid development of new technologies such as the Internet of Things,cloud computing,and big data,the IPv4 address resource pool in the global Internet is in the process of being exhausted.The evolution of IPv6 network upgrades is the current development trend of the global Internet.The current technological development trend fundamentally determines that the IPv4 network will eventually transform to the technological evolution of the IPv6 network.In order to ensure that the normal business process of the enterprise is not affected during the IPv6 upgrade and transformation of the campus network,it is necessary to carry out risk management on the project to ensure the successful completion of the entire upgrade and transformation project.This paper researches and analyzes the whole process of project risk management of company A’s campus network IPv6 upgrade project.The author analyzes the status quo and existing problems of the campus network project of Company A,uses the WBS work decomposition method combined with the Delphi method and the pre-analysis method to identify the risks of the project,and clarifies the various risk factors that may appear in the project.Using the Pareto analysis method to conduct risk assessment on each risk factor identified in Company A’s campus network IPv6 upgrade and transformation project from three dimensions of risk weight,risk probability,and risk disaster level,the risk degree of each risk factor is clarified and carried out risk ranking.Finally,the main risk factors of company A’s campus network IPv6 upgrade and transformation project are listed with reasonable and effective countermeasures to ensure the risk monitoring of the project and the risk deviation control of the risk.In this paper,through the combination of theory and practice,the risk management of IPv6 upgrading and transformation projects is reasonably carried out.Through the research of this paper,it is concluded that there are many risks in all stages of IPv6 upgrading and transformation projects,and risk management is very important.Through risk management,we can Reasonably and effectively avoid the impact of unfavorable factors.
