| With the increasing development of modern science and technology,consumers’ demand about online-shopping is more widespread and they pay more attention to product quality,which contributes cross-border e-commerce to be prevalent.Particularly,COVID-19 since 2020 rapidly diffuses in the world,which leads traditional manufacturing and foreign trade industries to suffer huge loss and provides new business opportunities for cross-border e-commerce as well.There are opportunities and challenges for cross-border e-commerce,requiring firms to positively update and transition.From opportunity views,on the one hand,COVID-19 promotes the development of supply chain,operations,logistics,and overseas warehousing for cross-border e-commerce;on the other hand,it also stimulates the consumer demand,shifting from offline to online,and expand consumer group from the youth to the old.From challenge views,the growth of cross-border e-commerce results in a lot pressure of cross-border logistics that is still in an imperfect stage due to the huge consumption of time and cost coming from multinational transportation.Data shows that the logistics cost accounts for approximately 30% of the total operations cost of cross-border e-commerce enterprises in China.COVID-19 brings more obstacles to each part of cross-border logistics,which limits their sustainable development and requires firms to quickly optimize.Our dissertation focuses on A company and analyzes its problems from internal and external competitive perspectives under the context of COVID-19.Then,we propose an optimization scheme to increase the company’s market share and competitiveness.And our dissertation further provides new insights for similar companies that care sustainable development.In particular,first,combining domestic and foreign literatures,we introduce the external macro-environment of the company and describe the problems of internal and external competitions for A company in COVID-19.Second,by deeply discussing these problems faced by A company,our dissertation puts forward a plan to optimize logistics service and provides corresponding measures.Finally,we summarize some suggestions for their logistics service,customer relationship,and service systems of A company,which may maintain its market status and even facilitate market share in the fierce competitive environment. |
