Project schedule management is a very important part of the project management process.S Company has formulated and implemented the project schedule management plan in the employee incentive system software research and development project,but at the beginning of the project,the project schedule has been delayed repeatedly.The continuation of this situation will lead to the final delay of the project delivery.This thesis investigates and analyzes the current situation of the software R & D project,and puts forward a schedule management scheme which is more suitable for the software R & D project,combined with the current mature project management theories and methods,in order to solve the current schedule management problems in the employee incentive system software development project.This thesis takes the employee incentive system software R & D project of S Company as the research object,and focuses the problem on the schedule management of the software R & D project.Through the analysis of the current situation of the project,it is identified that there are some problems in the initial schedule management plan,such as frequent changes in requirements,lack of refinement of project decomposition,inaccurate duration estimation,procrastination of team members,weak schedule control and so on.This thesis makes an optimization scheme for the problems in the project schedule management,and compiles a more detailed work breakdown structure according to the current process flow of the project.Then use the plan review technology to estimate the time of each stage and task cycle of the project,and get the duration and variance of each activity.Moreover,the critical path is further identified,and the project duration and completion probability on the critical path are obtained.Then,by introducing the critical chain technology to solve the problem of resource constraints and conflicts,and optimizing the buffer,the project schedule is optimized from 268.6 days initially affected by Parkinson’s law and student syndrome to 206.475 days.and there is a certain buffer space for the delay risk of project research and development to reasonably control,which lays a foundation for the smooth implementation of the schedule management plan.From the project schedule management theory,this thesis finds a better path for the software R & D project schedule management of S company’s employee incentive system,and establishes a schedule management model suitable for the software R & D project by improving the project schedule management plan,which successfully solves the problem of project schedule delay.This solution can be used as a reference for similar software R & D projects,and can solve the schedule management problems in similar software R&D projects.
