The Generative Logic And Evolution Of Open Access To Academic Resources

As the most basic carrier of academic resources,academic journals have always been an important way of academic exchange.Since 1665,academic journals have become a crucial factor in scientific research activities.In the 1960 s,the number of scientific research papers increased sharply.Commercial publishers entered the academic journal market,monopolized the academic journal market through merger and reorganization,and greatly increased the price of academic journals,which exceeded the bearing capacity of the library.This situation seriously hindered the dissemination of academic resources and produced “academic journal crisis”.In order to resolve the “academic journal crisis”and meet the needs of modern academic development,the academic community spontaneously organized the “Open Access Movement”.Open access aims to establish an open and shared academic environment.Since the emergence of the movement,it has been valued by the academic community,but the promotion of open access has been accompanied by various difficulties and doubts.In recent years,“s plan” and “oa2020”have pushed open access to the research frontier.In addition,with the deepening of the open access movement,open access has not only pointed to academic journals,but gradually spread to the whole field of academic resources.Therefore,taking academic resources as the research subject,this paper summarizes the background,development process and main implementation methods of open access,and deeply analyzes the generation logic,development and evolution of open access.This paper mainly does the following work:The first is to sort out the development process of open access.According to the time sequence,the development of open access is divided into six stages,and the related activities and policies at each stage are summarized.Second,starting from the types of resources and carriers,this paper analyzes the main contents and realization methods of open access to academic resources.Thirdly,the generation logic of open access is analyzed.It mainly analyzes the generation logic of academic journals,academic books,knowledge bases and other network carriers from three aspects of theoretical origin,material conditions and practical needs.Fourth,summarizes the development dilemma of open access.This paper summarizes the main problems faced by academic journals,academic books,knowledge bases and other network carriers in the development of open access.Fifth,it analyzes the evolution trend of open access.Firstly,it summarizes the development from open access to open science at the business level,which is applicable to the whole academic resource field.Secondly,the future development trends of open access journals,open access academic books,knowledge bases and other open access network resources are discussed respectively.The sixth is based on the research summary,put forward the main enlightenment of open access to this international publishing movement for our country.
