| For the past few years,due to the rapid development of the communication industry,more stringent standards have been formulated for performance indicators in wireless networks.The Intelligent Reflecting Surface(IRS)aided communication system has become one of the key technologies for the future development of the communication industry because of its advantages such as low cost,low power consumption,and lossless reflection of signals.The IRS aided communication system is considered to be a single-slot multi-Amplifying and Forwarding(AF)relay cooperative communication system without forwarding power,and the performance comparison between the two has no Symbol Error Rate(SER)angle of comparative analysis.In addition,the selection of the smart reflector lacks the theoretical basis of the SER angle,so the problem of the SER analysis of the smart reflector is studied.The main research work of the thesis is as follows:(1)For a single IRS aided communication system,an asymptotically tight approximation SER performance analysis method is proposed.First,the IRS aided communication system model is set up,and the Signal-to-Noise Rate(SNR)is calculated by the Maximal Ratio Combiner(MRC).Then,through a reasonable construction between the reflection coefficient and the link coefficient of the IRS,the SNR on the forwarding link of the IRS can satisfy the harmonic mean form.Finally,based on the calculation method of Moment Generating Function(MGF),the asymptotically approximation formula of the system with simple structure is derived.The simulation results show that the derived formula can accurately describe the SER performance of the system under the condition of low SNR.Compared with the multi-AF relay system,the IRS aided communication system has slightly better system SER performance only in the case of low SNR.In addition,the closer the distance between the IRS and the source node,the better the SER performance of the IRS aided communication system.(2)For the multi-IRS aided communication system,a simple asymptotically approximation SER formula is derived using the method in a single IRS aided communication system.Combined with the specific network topology structure model,the selection of multi-IRS is simulated and analyzed.The simulation results show that the derived formula can accurately describe the system SER performance.Compared with the single IRS aided communication system and the multi-AF relay system,the multi-IRS aided communication system has better SER performance.The closer the distance between the IRS and the source node,the better the SER performance of the multi-IRS aided communication system. |
