Abstract/Summary:
The millimeter wave radar system mainly includes three parts:antenna,sending and receiving components,and signal processing.Among them,signal processing is the core technology of the entire radar system.Therefore,it is of great significance for the research on the signal processing technology of millimeter wave radar.At the same time,the FMCW and CW radar of the millimeter wave band have their own advantages and disadvantages in measurement accuracy,measurement items,system complexity,and power consumption level.prospect.This article starts with the principle of radar signal processing,derives the specific algorithm process of radar digital baseband,gradually builds each signal processing unit in the system,and finally completes the system integration and digital front end and back end implementation.The main work of the text is as follows:1.Based on the structure of 24GHz millimeter wave radar system,the signal processing principle in the Doppler working mode and frequency regulation continuous wave mode is analyzed.In conjunction with the radar system to simulate the radio frequency front end,a set of Doppler mode and frequency adjustment continuous wave mode is designed Radar signal processing process.The performance indicators and key algorithm modules of the baseband system are defined.2.According to the performance index and processing flow of digital baseband,the algorithm and hardware implementation of digital baseband circuit are carried out.Based onΣin the system-ΔThe combination of CIC filter,compensation filter and FIR filter unit is used to realize the design of digital decimation filter in dual mode;An efficient and configurable FFT calculation module is designed,and FFT calculation is completed with less resource overhead;Through the analysis and comparison of algorithms,the sequential statistics and mean CFAR processing algorithms are used in the design of velocity and Doppler dimensions,and the amount of calculation is improved;After the target recognition,an asynchronous serial port module is designed to encode the target information and output it.Finally,the RTL design of baseband circuit is completed and verified.3.Based on the Fujitsu 55nm CMOS process and semi-custom digital IC design process,the digital baseband has been physically realized.And finally passed physical verification to ensure that the digital baseband circuit can converge at the time of the40MHz operating frequency.The area of the dual-mode digital baseband circuit is 1.04mm~2,and the total power consumption is 2.851mW.
