In recent years,the rapid development of the Internet of Things industry has exceeded people’s imagination.As another technological direction with great potential after computers and mobile communications,the Internet of Things technology has received extensive attention from all walks of life.At present,the development of China’s Internet of Things companies has just started and is in its infancy,and the performance evaluation system for Internet of Things companies is not perfect.Some companies even stay in the traditional manufacturing performance evaluation methods.In fact,based on the characteristics of high risk,high innovation,and high profitability,Io T companies should combine their own characteristics and advantages,not stick to traditional financial indicators,and build a comprehensive performance evaluation system to seek An effective way for enterprises to create maximum value.Therefore,this article constructs a performance evaluation system for the Internet of Things industry from the perspective of value creation,and selects the Internet of Things company A company for analysis and evaluation.It is hoped that through the research of this article,it can provide suggestions for the optimization of the performance evaluation system of A company,and provide some reference experience for the construction of the performance evaluation system of the Internet of Things enterprises,so as to help enterprises realize the maximum value.This article includes six chapters,using case study method,literature research method,quantitative research method,and qualitative research method.First,the research background and significance,related concepts and theoretical basis are introduced to pave the way for the follow-up content;secondly,based on the characteristics of the value chain of the Internet of Things industry,its influencing factors are analyzed,and the relevant ideas of the balanced scorecard are used for reference.,Select indicators and build a performance evaluation system;again,introduce A company,use the constructed evaluation system to conduct a comprehensive analysis and evaluation of A company’s value chain.Finally,based on the results of the evaluation and analysis,provide relevant suggestions for the performance improvement of A company,hoping to provide experience and reference for the construction of the performance evaluation system in the process of value creation of the Internet of Things enterprises in China.
