Research On Disaster Aesthetics In News Report

Disaster events have great news value due to their sudden,destructive and impact,and disaster reporting has been considered a "rich ore" of news reporting.And with the increasing frequency of catastrophic events today,news reports on disasters are also showing a surge,and the media is increasingly connected to the people,the media itself,the media and the environment.However,various problems inevitably arise in a variety of disaster news reports.Therefore,the author chooses "disaster aesthetics" as the main research perspective to systematically summarize and discuss such problems as disaster aesthetics in news reports.In turn,it provides effective guidance for the media to better carry out disaster news reports.In this paper,some domestic media are selected as the research object of news reports on major disaster events,and four methods are adopted: literature research method,text analysis method,case analysis method and comparative research method.The specific problems included in the selection of cases are discussed in stratification,the reasons are summarized and corresponding solutions are proposed.The paper is mainly divided into four parts: the first chapter mainly discusses the origin of "disaster aesthetics" and the specific connotation and representation of disaster aesthetics in news reports.In the second chapter,we are engaged in three aspects: solid,aesthetic and moral,and analyze the problems of controversial disaster news cases.First of all,on the factual level,the news media appeared to beautify and downplay the disaster when reporting disaster,deliberately filtering out relevant information,resulting in a series of problems such as covering the true appearance of disaster,positive publicity and excessive storytelling,and finally making the report appear "false truth".Secondly,at the aesthetic level,sensationalism is frequent,excessive rendering of sadness,the landscape appreciation of disaster events,entertainment expression and emotional alienation under the space of ritual symbol,etc.,which leads to the serious phenomenon of "pseudo-beauty" of some news.Thirdly,there are psychological injuries to the reporting objects and receiving subjects,improper publicity of excessive sacrifice of heroes and selective presentation of victims,which makes some disaster news present the characteristics of "hypocrisy".The third chapter,based on the problems expounded in chapter 2,makes different reasons and summarizes from the aspects of journalism,aesthetics,ethics and other aspects,tries to explore the specific reasons behind the surface problem presentation,and reflects on the deep factors of disaster aesthetic phenomena in news reports,so as to find out the solutions strategies.Chapter 4,on the basis of chapter 2 and chapter 3,points out the natural measures to carry out disaster news reports,and puts forward constructive Suggestions on the problems mentioned above and the causes,and hopes to provide some guidance for the practice of disaster news reports on the theoretical level.Since disaster news reports are mainly aimed at the practice closely related to human production and life,as well as the tragic consequences of displacement,family destruction and death,and have the implications of provoking reflection and caring society,Therefore,disaster news reports are of great significance both in the perspective of news value and social value.Based on this,it is necessary to explore the problems exposed by media production disaster news.Previous research on disaster news reports has also given some inspiration to this study.Therefore,this paper stands on the shoulders of predecessors.Based on the novel perspective of "disaster aesthetics",a systematic study is carried out on various problems in disaster news reports,so as to provide theoretical guidance and normative reference for future disaster news production.
