With the rapid development of Internet technology,people’s access to information is becoming more and more diversified,and they need to have a certain level of information literacy in order to quickly obtain useful information from the vast amount of information available.The introduction of the 14 th Five-Year Plan for National Informatization means that during the 14 th Five-Year Plan period,China’s informatization will enter a new stage of accelerating digital development and building a digital China.Higher education institutions are an important part of China’s higher education and an important force in promoting social development and productivity improvement.They are responsible for the training of most of the country’s highly skilled talents,so it is of great significance to explore information literacy education in libraries of higher education institutions.In the era of information explosion,students in higher education institutions need to have good information literacy and improve their cognitive ability of correct information in order to take the advantage of development in the rapid development of information technology if they want to better improve their overall quality and ability to adapt to society in the future.The library is the place where information resources are most concentrated in higher education institutions,and it is also the place where information literacy education is focused.Students participate in information literacy education through a series of activities carried out by the library,and through daily information literacy education in higher education institutions,the library helps students discover information and understand it correctly,so that they can establish correct values and cultivate security and moral awareness.At present,there are certain problems in the way and content of information literacy education in many libraries of higher education institutions,and the information literacy level of students in higher education institutions still needs to be improved.This thesis takes Shandong higher vocational colleges as the investigation object,takes information literacy as the basic research background,conducts a detailed investigation around the status of students’ information literacy and the work of library information literacy education,hopes to give practical reference to the research on information literacy education in higher vocational colleges,and through the investigation and research,analyzes the problems for the current situation of Shandong higher vocational colleges,gives specific reference measures on how Shandong higher vocational colleges It has a strong guiding significance for how to attach importance to information literacy education work and how to do a good job of information literacy education work in libraries of higher vocational colleges at a high level,and it has a reference significance for other types of colleges and universities and national higher vocational colleges to carry out good information literacy education.This thesis is divided into seven chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research background and significance of the article,the current situation of domestic and foreign research,the research content and research methods,the innovative points and research ideas of the thesis.The second chapter is an overview of information literacy education in college libraries,which mainly introduces the general situation,advantages and significance of information literacy education in higher vocational college libraries.The third chapter is a webpage research on the development of information literacy education in 40 higher education institutions in Shandong Province.Secondly,the library teachers of eight higher education institutions were selected to conduct telephone interviews and questionnaire surveys,and the results of both surveys are analysed.The fourth chapter is a research and analysis of 409 higher education students using a questionnaire survey.The fifth chapter is based on the first two parts of the current situation survey to point out the problems of information literacy education in libraries of higher education institutions in Shandong Province.Chapter 6 is to propose corresponding solutions to the problems of information literacy education in libraries of higher education institutions in Shandong Province.The seventh chapter is the conclusion and shortcomings of the article.
