| “X Yuan” is a popular Internet term in recent years.It is not only a reference to a phenomenon but also a generalization of a group.In 2021,Workers’ Daily pointed out that there was a “Buddha Yuan” group in society,and summarized “Buddha Yuan” as a group of women who engaged in illegal business operations in religious places.The report also pointed out that this phenomenon was not limited to religious occasions.Later,groups such as “sick Yuan”,“medical yuan” and“Snow yuan” were also reported.X Yuan has become a synonym for women who engage in commercial activities such as marketing.However,as some Buddha Yuan groups have come forward to claim that they have not committed illegal business practices,the designation of “X Yuan” has been regarded by some as a kind of stigmatization of women.Therefore,“X Yuan” has been a lot of controversy in the field of public opinion.This thesis will take the image of “Buddha Yuan” as the representative,study the construction process of the media image of “X Yuan”,and explore the social motivation behind the analysis results,and explain the complex voice of public opinion field.This thesis is mainly divided into three parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly explains the research background,theoretical structure,research methods,research significance and innovation points involved in this research.It belongs to the prospective part of the research,and mainly expounds and summarizes the writing ideas of this thesis.The first part is an overview of the development of the media image of “Buddha Yuan”,mainly including an overview of the development history and group characteristics of the image of “Buddha Yuan”,and a brief review of the group image.The section on the development history of the media image of “Buddha Yuan” is divided into three stages.The first is the spontaneous stage,in which “Buddha Yuan” is expounded as an image active in the civil discourse.the second is the intervention stage of official media,in which “Buddha Yuan” is expounded as a media image reported by multiple media.The main research subject of this thesis is also the study of this process.Finally,the media image of “Buddha Socialite” has been generalized in the Internet.Dozens of“X Yuan”,such as “sick Yuan” and “takeout Yuan”,have been shaped based on the construction logic of the image of “Buddha Yuan”.The third stage is the elaboration of this process.The second section is an overview of the characteristics of the group image of “Buddha yuan”,which is divided into two aspects: one is the singleness of the image presentation,the other is the stigmatization of the female image.The second part is the main part of the thesis,including the second and third chapters.The second chapter mainly analyzes the collected report samples by using the content analysis method.This thesis adopts the structure theory of the field of news communication to analyze the media image of people like “Buddha Yuan” from three levels: high level,middle level and low level.In the third chapter,based on the quantitative results of the previous content analysis,the generation mechanism of the media image of “Buddha Yuan” is sorted out and analyzed,including the induction of the generation mechanism and the mining of the attribution of the generation mechanism.In the second chapter,the author analyzes the content of the obtained report samples according to the theme structure,narrative structure and language structure of the report to get the quantitative data results.In addition,the author expounds the mechanism of media image generation of “Buddha Yuan” and its reasons based on the overview of the development process in the previous part.This section classifies the media image generation mechanism of “Buddha Yuan” into three aspects: first,negative reports set the tone of the image.second,the language structure of “text + picture” Outlines the specific image.third,the role of critical reports in guiding public opinion.The second section analyzes the reasons for the construction of the media image of “Buddha Yuan”,mainly from the two aspects of actors and social factors.The analysis finds that actors are subject to the influence of the guiding function of public opinion and guide the public by revealing social undesirable phenomena,and social factors are reflected in two aspects.The first is the combination of “socialite” and consumerism in the field of public opinion.Secondly,the flow of economic field chaos caused by the Internet celebrities and other Internet talent moral worries.The third part is the collation,induction and analysis of the data obtained from the main part,which is mainly presented in the fourth chapter.It mainly analyzes and studies the social significance,construction errors and countermeasures of media image construction.Through the data analysis and summary of the samples of “Buddha Yuan” reported in the first few chapters,as well as the close reading and summary of the samples,it is found that the construction errors of “Buddha Yuan” are mainly reflected in four aspects,that is,the media image of “Buddha Yuan”and the real image caused by the blurred focus of news.The lack of journalism professionalism caused by the “Buddha Yuan” negative report flooding.The stigmatization of women as others and the misconception that female bodies are imagined and given negative meanings under the characteristics of visual media communication.Therefore,this thesis puts forward corresponding countermeasures for the development of the media image of “Buddha Yuan”.Firstly,at the level of news production content,it is necessary to broaden the media reporting structure and build a three—dimensional media image.Secondly,in terms of the target of news reports,the media should be objective and fair,and give every voiceless group a chance to speak out.Then in the consciousness level of news production,we should keep pace with The Times,improve the awareness of gender sensitivity,and create a gender equal public opinion environment.Finally,at the level of news producers,it is necessary to improve the professional quality of the practitioners,so as to verify and reflect the basic facts.To sum up,this study is based on the existing analysis of the social events of “X Yuan”,selects one of the representative images of “Buddha Yuan” as the entry point,attempts to draw a relatively scientific and effective conclusion on the media image construction of “Buddha Yuan”by combining quantitative and qualitative methods,and makes a contribution to the research on the media image construction of “X Yuan”. |
