Information technology has led to the creation of mixed reality interactive displays in contemporary science museums.In other words,a new phenomenon of mixed reality display experience is created by the co-existence of real reality and virtual reality in the same space,where the audience can experience them together.The mixed reality experience involves a wide range of interactive content in digital media,but also encompasses the interactive experience of traditional exhibition forms.Therefore,this project aims to explore the practical application of existing interaction design,digital media,the forms of experience and design elements,in order to clarify a series of issues such as interactive space,design components,and interaction design strategies in mixed interactive display design,starting from mixed reality display design in science museums.The details are as follows.Firstly,the interactive space.In the real reality space,the main form of interactive is the "mechanical device",in which the experience cannot only actively participate in it,but also can operate and enlighten wisdom.On the contrary,virtual reality experience,which is dominated by "digital interface","virtual reality" and "intelligent terminal",must rely on the information platform built by computers in order for the audience to enter the virtual space.This experience not only breaks through the limitations of time and space,but also presents a multi-dimensional extension in terms of spatial perception.Secondly,the design components.This means extracting and classifying the elements that influence the interactive experience.It is believed that the mixed reality experience in the exhibition interaction of science museums cannot be separated from three elements,such as audience,environment and technology.The first is the perceptual elements with audience experience as the core,which has become an important criterion for testing the interactive display design of the museum;the second is the environmental elements to create immersive environmental elements and the technical elements to expand the interactive form,which is not only the main factor to enrich the experience content in the application scenario,but also the key to influence the depth of audience experience.Finally,interaction design strategies.The design strategy is based on the following components: first,the establishment of embodied interaction,which of the audience’s own behaviour with the thematic ideas,the theme ideas,the technical equipment and other forms of experience.Second,the establishment of the interactive space,which must include the virtual information space,the physical display environment and the interactive environment between the audience.Third,the establishment of emotionally oriented interactions.The aim is to build on the mixed experience and establish emotional guidance for the audience in order to expand the breadth and depth of the experience.In short,through the study of interactive display design in science museums,further increase its mixed reality display experience,interactive experience,make the exhibition form more rich and diverse,so that more audiences are interested in entering science museums,inspire science enthusiasm,and thus enhance the social science value that science museums should have.
