With the arrival of the digital era,audiobook,a media form,came into being.It has opened up a book communication mode in which hearing and vision go hand in hand,and solved the problem of boring ways and fixed forms in traditional reading.At present,the reading mode has changed from immersion to fragmentation.The slow reading era has waved goodbye to us.In the fragmentation reading era,the audiobook APP with mobile devices as the carrier not only provides readers with a more convenient and efficient intelligent reading mode,but also makes it possible for readers to read fragmentation coherently.This paper takes "Himalayan FM",the top audiobook APP industry with the highest number of downloads and popularity,as an example,and studies it from the perspective of Media Affordance.This study is divided into four parts.The introduction section mainly explains the research background and significance,research review,research methods,and innovations.The first chapter longitudinally combs the development and classification of audiobook and audiobook APP.At the same time,through the study of four aspects of Himalayan FM,namely,communication subject,communication channel,communication form,and audience acceptance,the overall situation of audiobook transmission in Himalayan FM is grasped.The second chapter focuses on the affordance analysis of audiobook on the Himalayan FM platform,and conducts detailed analysis and research from the production affordance,social affordance,and mobile affordance of audiobook.Combining the theory of "media availability" with the publishing discipline,it conducts an overall research on the availability of audiobook.The third chapter summarizes the limitations of the affordance of audiobook on the Himalayan FM platform,which are mainly reflected in three aspects: the increased affordance of production leads to low access threshold;Shallow social affordance leads to weak emotional networks;The single affordance of mobile devices leads to low differentiation in reading scenarios.The fourth chapter analyzes the optimization and improvement path of the affordance of audiobook on the Himalayan FM platform,and explores three improvement paths: "three mechanisms of access,segmentation and review are in parallel to ensure the quality of audiobook first" and "seeking deep connection paths to broaden the communication chain to improve communication power",and jointly build a relevancy communication matrix of "content is king";Expanding monetization path technology through a dual approach of "new acquaintance society" and "old acquaintance society",enhancing the emotional atmosphere of reading by enhancing the level of empathy with fun,and thereby establishing exclusive social labels and empathy fields;Create a reading scene that promotes the collaborative development of personalization and commonality.
