As the core technology in Io T applications,Io T communication protocol plays a key role in supporting reliable data transmission between terminal equipment and cloud platform.However,there are many kinds of existing Io T protocols and no unified standard,which brings many difficulties to the data exchange between devices,devices and platforms,and between platforms.Therefore,studying the transmission mechanism between different Io T protocols has become the key to solve the engineering application of Io T.This paper combs and summarizes the current situation of the Internet of Things platform,and successfully realizes the application development of the Internet of Things project by analyzing and studying the transmission mechanism of the communication protocol of the Internet of Things platform.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)This paper studies and expounds the current mainstream Internet of Things protocols,including Rest/http,MQTT,modbus,OPC,Profibus,Profinet and other general protocols.The representative protocols are compared and analyzed,and the application scenarios and methods of the protocols are pointed out.In the development process of the Internet of Things project,in addition to the use of Rest/HTTP,MQTT and other general network transmission protocols to achieve the data transmission of the platform,the use of Modbus,OPC,Profibus,Profinet and other industrial protocols.(2)A new protocol has been developed based on MQTT and Http.The new protocol reduces the fields used to establish communication and defines the meaning of each field in the transmission message.It effectively solves the problem of complex communication when using Http and the problem that MQTT cannot transmit a large amount of data.At the same time,it solves the problem that only data in the message cannot see the variable name,which can save users the time of comparing lists.Compared with the Http protocol,the newly improved protocol has greatly improved the data transmission speed,and has increased the transmission volume by more than10 times compared with the MQTT protocol.In addition,the newly developed protocol can realize data transmission between devices and platforms through DTU data transmission.(3)Finally,the new protocol is tested and applied through the Internet of Things project,which verifies the feasibility of the protocol.Through the development of the Internet of Things platform project,the conversion between different communication protocols was studied,and the data docking,data operation,data display,etc.in the Internet of Things application project were realized through the new protocol.It also describes the transmission of data on hardware DTU,RTU,gateway and serial server in detail,and the KEPServer in software connects with the API of the Internet of Things platform;In the actual project development,the new protocol is used to realize the data transmission of the platform.At the same time,the industrial protocols such as Modbus,OPC,Profibus and Profinet are used to realize the data transmission between industrial equipment sensors and controllers,and between controllers and controllers,so as to realize the data transmission across systems.
