Study On The Translation Quality Problem And Countermeasure Of The Imported Literary Books(2011-2022)

The translation and publication of imported literary books has a long history in our country.Our large-scale introduction of foreign literature books,translation and publication began during the May Fourth Movement.After reform and opening up,the publication of imported literary books has developed rapidly.The imported literary books occupy more and more important position in China’s publishing market.With the completion of the transformation from publishing to enterprise,the major publishers and private publishing companies have joined in the upsurge of publishing foreign literary books.The translation and publishing of the introduced literary books has many problems hidden in the flourishing development of our country.Based on the various manifestations of translation quality problems of imported literary books in recent years,this study analyzes the formation mechanism inside the press and social mechanism,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures.This study is divided into five parts.The first part explains the research background,research significance,domestic and foreign literature review,research methods and innovation.Through the combing of relevant studies,it is found that there is a certain degree of prejudice to the inducement of the quality problems of imported literary books.The second part is the current situation and problem analysis.From the perspective of publishing,this paper briefly traces the history of the overall evolution of the translation and publishing of imported literary books,and summarizes the overall characteristics of the translation and publishing of imported literary books in the past ten years.Finally,through the analysis of some cases,it summarizes various manifestations of the translation quality problems of imported literary books in the past ten years.The third part is the analysis of the internal influencing mechanism of the publishing press.On the basis of summarizing the experience of predecessors and searching relevant data.It is concluded that the internal mechanisms leading to the quality problems in the translation of imported literary books are the irrationality of the production mechanism and the lax gate-keeping mechanism.The fourth part is the analysis of social formation mechanism.From the perspective of evaluation mechanism,reward and punishment mechanism,and market mechanism,the paper aims to demonstrate that the environment of translation and publishing of foreign literature books deteriorates due to the difficulty of readers’ evaluation and judgment,the lack of government accountability,and the profit-driven market competition,that is,the enthusiasm of publishing institutions and translators to engage in foreign literature translation and publishing is hit.The fifth part,aiming at the internal and external mechanisms of publishing discussed above,puts forward some feasible countermeasures from publishing institutions,translation market,social evaluation and translator cultivation,so as to help improve the translation quality of our imported literary books.
