Research On Narrative Discourse Of Documentary Character Talk Show

As the wave of globalization advances,the frontiers of narrative studies,known for its formalist critical theory continue to expand.The research results on narrative of literary fiction in China and abroad have been very rich and diversified in perspectives.However,the study of them is not fully applicable to documentary character talk shows.This is because the new media environment has led to new narrative mutations in documentary character talk shows.What is the function of narrative discourse in this type of program? How to improve the "storytelling" ability of such programs?Based on this,The author introduces the theory of narrative into the documentary character talk shows.On the one hand,it is intended to use its research perspective to construct a theoretical framework to make the study of documentary character talk shows more convincing,on the other hand,hoping to provide some suggestions for the innovative development of similar programs.Graduation work "Yin Guihong: A Good Seed" brings an immersive experience to the audience.In terms of interview content,The author takes the narrative line of when to plant wheat seeds,how to cultivate wheat seeds and cultivate wheat seed inheritors,thus showing the excellent quality of wheat breeders who are rooted in the construction of the motherland and spend most of their lives working hard on research.In terms of narrative construction,the narrative techniques of this type of program are reflected through the integration of various narrative elements of narrative time,narrative space,and narrative perspective.In terms of filming techniques,it breaks the traditional studio’s fixed single form.The use of one shot to the end,long shot shooting and other ways to restore Yin Guihong’s daily life.The thesis is divided into four chapters.The first introductory chapter introduces the origin,significance,ideas,and methods of this thesis,and systematically composes the existing research results.The second chapter first defines the core concepts involved in the dissertation,composes the development of related theories,and explores the narrative discourse characteristics of documentary character talk shows,and then deconstructs and analyzes the content and narrative style of typical documentary talk shows as a case study to explore the strategic techniques of "good storytelling" for documentary talk shows in the context of genre fusion.The analysis is followed by a deconstruction of the content and narrative style of the program to explore the strategic techniques of "good storytelling" in the context of genre fusion.In the third chapter,based on the previous discussion,the author analyzes the narrative elements in the graduation work from three aspects: pre-planning,mid-term shooting and post-editing,and reflects on the shortcomings in the creation process.In the fourth chapter,the innovative strategies of narrative discourse of documentary character interview programs are explored and prospected in the new media environment.
