| At present,public libraries are in the exploratory stage of social cooperation.For public libraries that need stable and high-quality partners,how to select a strong partner,form a more stable cooperation circle,carry out in-depth and effective cooperation,control potential risks of cooperation,innovate multicultural services,and achieve sustainable development? It is a topic that public libraries need to pay attention to and study.Based on this,this paper takes Pudong Library’s "Pujiang School" project as the entry point to study the whole process mechanism of public library’s social education cooperation.First of all,this paper defines the concepts of library social cooperation and library social education cooperation,and summarizes the research status of public library social cooperation at home and abroad.In addition,the author systematically combs the current practice of Chinese public library social educational cooperation.Secondly,through field research and interview,this paper makes a detailed introduction to the current situation of "Pujiang School",and focuses on the in-depth analysis of the project access mechanism,operation management mechanism and sustainable development mechanism of "Pujiang School" project in the incubation stage,growth stage and expansion stage.Thirdly,an empirical study is carried out on the effect of "Pujiang School" project based on the Kirchner assessment model and PIRLS system of international reading literacy test.It mainly includes two aspects of empirical evidence.One is to understand the students’ satisfaction with Pujiang School through Likert scale;The second is to compare and evaluate the reading ability and reading behavior of the students of "Pujiang School" and the students of the same grade who do not participate in "Pujiang School" by using the PIRLS system of international reading literacy test.Through the above theoretical and empirical research,the following conclusions can be drawn:(1)Students have a very high degree of satisfaction with Pujiang School.Among them,students are particularly satisfied with the teaching staff and the course content which are emphasized in the whole process management mechanism of Pujiang School.This result confirms the scientificity and effectiveness of the whole process management mechanism of "Pujiang School" project implemented by Pudong Library.(2)The learning experience in Pujiang School is helpful to improve students’ reading ability,which is specifically reflected in the improvement of four types of reading comprehension ability: "extract the surface information of an article","directly infer the content of an article","understand and integrate the information according to the content of an article",and "evaluate and think deeply according to the content of an article".(3)The learning experience in Pujiang School can have a certain positive impact on students’ reading behavior,which is embodied in:more positive view of reading,more frequent and extensive reading,more confident and positive self-reading ability assessment.According to the above research conclusions,this paper demonstrates that Pujiang School project can be a typical representative of the cooperation between library and social forces in social education from three aspects: the nature,effectiveness and influence of the project.On this basis,this study extracts strategies for the construction of social education cooperation mechanism of public libraries:(1)Public libraries need to establish project access mechanism in the incubation stage of social education cooperation projects.On the basis of following the four principles of rule of law and ethics,fairness and justice,synergy and sustainability,the emphasis can be placed on the evaluation of the concept and consistency of project positioning,the professional quality and business experience of the partner,the demand for cooperation resources,and the assessment of long-term cooperation risk.(2)In the growth stage of the project,the public library needs to establish the operation mechanism of the cooperative project.At this stage,the library can focus on four aspects:core content research and development design,introduction of professional talents,publicity and drainage,and project management.(3)In the expansion phase of the project,the library needs to establish a sustainable long-term mechanism for the cooperation project.At this stage,the library can focus on the following four aspects: building a stable professional team,establishing a supervision and evaluation mechanism,enhancing the ability to cope with risks,and expanding the sharing of scale results. |
