With the rapid development of the internet,digital watermarking technology has gained increasing attention as an effective way to address digital copyright issues.However,ensuring the transparency and robustness of watermarks remains challenging due to problems such as loss of host signal.This paper proposes a digital watermark embedding and extraction method based on generative adversarial networks,which effectively protects copyrights by embedding the watermark image into the host image and restoring it with high quality in the damaged host image.During watermark extraction,this paper introduces a U-shaped network-based subnetwork structure and adds channel attention mechanisms to improve feature extraction capabilities.In addition,this paper introduces a discriminator subnetwork to increase watermark image losses for further improving watermark extraction quality.Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm extracts watermark images with the best quality from damaged host images and better restores the details of the original watermark image content.It should be emphasized that this method is more robust and transparent than other methods,meaning it can better cope with different types of attacks.Furthermore,the proposed watermark algorithm model is applied to a digital watermark copyright protection system,and a backend service based on microservice architecture is developed to implement watermark embedding,copyright detection,and user management functions.After functional and non-functional testing,experimental test results are stable and consistent with design expectations.Therefore,the research contribution of this paper is proposing a digital watermark method based on generative adversarial networks,which has better robustness and transparency and practical feasibility and wide application value in digital watermark copyright protection systems.In the future,this method can be widely applied to copyright protection of various digital media contents.
