| With the continuous change of social media forms in the complex media environment,the diversified development of social media makes the influence of social media more profound,and also makes the user’s contact initiative with the media increase at the same time,the dependency relationship between the user and the media is more profound.Taking Xiaohongshu as the analysis context,this study conducted in-depth interviews with 22 typical users on their usage and feelings of Xiaohongshu through the method of rooting theory,collected first-hand information on the behavior and psychology of typical users of Xiaohongshu,and based on the interview results,revealed the social media-user media system dependency relationship and analyzed the possible problems,aiming to enrich users’ solutions to the media dependency on social media arising from The aim is to enrich the strategic dimensions of users’ solutions to social problems arising.In the complex media environment,the two bases of the dependency relationship-goals-resources-are still the core of the social media-user dependency relationship.However,unlike the traditional media system dependency theory,the three goals of user understanding,orientation,and entertainment are no longer independent and single factors influencing the relationship between users and social media;in terms of the resource base of dependency,the influence of media on users lies not only in the information resources they hold,but also in the channel resources of the media platform itself and the economic resources created by both media and users,mainly attention and commercial advertising resources.In such a media environment,the influence on users is not only in the information resources they hold,but also in the channel resources of the media platform itself and the attention and commercial advertising resources created by the media and users.In such a media environment,media dependence on social media can generate strong user stickiness and have a positive effect on social media communication and development,but this may not be the case for social media users.Secondly,it will further strengthen the disconnection between the media and the real society,and finally,it will significantly increase the time cost of the audience. |
