In modern radar,high-speed moving targets pose a serious challenge to the detection ability of millimeter wave wideband radar.Due to the high speed and maneuverability of the target,the effect of traditional long-term coherent accumulation is seriously affected.Therefore,in order to solve the problem of target detection in millimeter wave wideband radar,this study adopts the method of long time pulse accumulation to correct the problems of the range migration and the doppler frequency migration,completing the research of detection algorithms for high-speed moving targets.The main work is as follows:Firstly,a model of the echo signal of a high-speed maneuvering target under wideband radar conditions is established,and the phenomenon of the range migration and the doppler frequency migration of the high-speed target echo is simulated and verified.The reasons for the phenomenon are analyzed,and the impact of this phenomenon on pulse accumulation is studied.Secondly,in order to solve the problem of coherent accumulation of uniformly moving targets,the Keystone transform algorithm and the AR-MTD target detection algorithm are studied.Due to the large computational error and low computational accuracy of the AR-MTD target detection algorithm,an improved PAR-MTD algorithm is proposed.Aiming at the problem of fast time and full time coupling in high order terms during coherent accumulation of uniformly accelerating moving targets,the KT-MFP coherent accumulation target detection algorithm is studied.The algorithm first corrects the target’s first order cross range unit walk through Keystone transform,and then estimates the acceleration and doppler ambiguity of the moving target through matched filtering and two-dimensional joint search to eliminate residual terms.However,the traversal search of parameter estimation can lead to a heavy computational burden.Aiming at the problem of large computational complexity caused by two-dimensional joint parameter search in KT-MFP algorithm,a MFP-GA-KT coherent accumulation algorithm is proposed,which effectively reduces two-dimensional joint search time using genetic algorithms,thereby improving parameter search performance and improving parameter search efficiency.After calculation,analysis,and simulation,the results show that the above algorithm can detect high-speed moving targets under millimeter wave wideband radar conditions,effectively achieve coherent accumulation of target energy,and complete target motion parameter estimation.
