With the development of Internet content,a large number of new knowledge content carriers have emerged.The emergence of e-books and short videos has greatly squeezed the survival space of the traditional publishing industry.Faced with survival pressure,T Company,as a small publishing company,began to seek a transformation towards paperbased cultural and creative industries to find new survival space.However,in the process of transformation,the inefficiency and loose management of the traditional book supply chain have caused problems in the supply chain management of T Company.The specific manifestation is that there are large fluctuations in upstream supply at the same time as there are fluctuations in downstream customer demand.Faced with the operating environment of fluctuations in both upstream and downstream,T Company has spent a lot of energy on supply chain management,resulting in a continuous decline in the company’s profit margin.Therefore,T Company is eager to find a management strategy suitable for the current supply chain situation.Faced with the supply chain situation where there are fluctuations in both upstream and downstream,T Company began to analyze and trace its own supply chain problems,combining supply chain theory with the actual situation of T Company.Starting from the most superficial upstream supply fluctuation and downstream demand fluctuation of T Company’s supply chain,this paper began with the relevant supply chain theories,searched for the essence of the supply chain supply and demand fluctuations,and then combined with the actual situation of T Company to find the deep-rooted causes behind the supply chain problems of T Company.Through the analysis of the current situation of T Company’s supply chain,this article finds three main problems,namely,low influence of the supply chain,increased fluctuation in downstream demand through sales strategies,and low operational efficiency of the supply chain.In response to these three issues,this article proposes a series of coping strategies based on existing research findings,combined with T Company’s own resources and capabilities.These include strengthening the upstream influence of the supply chain through resource restructuring;Improve sales policies to mitigate downstream demand fluctuations;Establish a demand forecasting mechanism to proactively respond to downstream demand fluctuations in the supply chain;Establish classified replenishment strategies to control commodity availability and turnover efficiency,and establish commodity transit to reduce logistics costs.After the implementation of these operational strategies in T Company,good results have been achieved in strengthening the upstream influence of the supply chain,reducing fluctuations in downstream customer demand,and improving commodity circulation rates.
