Research On The Archivist Certified By The National Archives Of Japan

Under the impact of knowledge and information age,archival work itself has changed.As the main body of archival work,archivists have put forward higher requirements for their quality in all aspects.Only professional and reliable archivists can give full play to the role of documents and archives.The system differences in different countries lead to differences in the evaluation and certification methods of archivists.In order to ensure the professionalism and trust of archivists,and enable them to play a key role in the management of official documents,the National Archives of Japan began to implement a certification system for archivists in 2020.The system is a professional quality evaluation and certification system,used to evaluate the professional quality and skills of archivists,so as to ensure the efficiency and high quality of archival work,and promote the development of archival undertakings.Therefore,based on the documents issued by the National Archives of Japan and the official website information,this paper mainly uses the data analysis method to deeply analyze and interpret the Archivist Certified by the National Archives of Japan.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,which introduces the related concepts,research background and significance,research status at home and abroad,innovation and shortcomings of this paper.The second part summarizes the development process of the certification system of archivists of the Japanese National Document Library,including the implementation motivation,creation process and implementation status of this certification system;The third part systematically analyzes the content of the certification system from four aspects: certification subject,certification conditions,certification procedures and certification renewal,and summarizes its characteristics of scientificity,flexibility,openness and sustainability;The fourth part firstly analyzes the positive influence of this certification system,then discusses the challenges and countermeasures in legal qualification,classification and improvement of corresponding supporting measures,and finally further discusses the experience and enlightenment brought by this certification system to the archives work in China.
