| With the Third Plenary Session of the 18 th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China putting forward a major strategic decision to promote the modernization of the national governance system and governance capacity,China’s archives department has followed the trend,introduced governance connotations into archival work,and continuously promoted the modernization of archives governance with Chinese characteristics.As the leading force and driving force of the development of archival work,the archival profession with the basic mission of "managing archives for the party,guarding history for the country,and serving the people",undertaking multiple social responsibilities such as protecting and developing social memory,the policy reform of the archival governance concept will inevitably have a considerable impact on the change and development of the archival profession.It can be said that the concept of archive governance largely determines the development direction of the archive profession,and the development of the archive profession also reflects the effectiveness of the archive governance concept,and in theory and practice,in promoting the benign development of the archive governance concept and the benign development of the archive profession.This paper is divided into five parts,the first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the relevant concepts,scope definition,research status at home and abroad,basic content,research significance,innovation and shortcomings.The second part analyzes the requirements for archives career development in the connotation of archives governance concepts,and understands the practical significance of promoting archives career development from the perspective of archives governance.The third part is to analyze the challenges and opportunities of archival career development from the perspective of archives governance,find the main challenges of China’s archival profession,point out the opportunities facing the current archival career development,seek advantages and avoid disadvantages,follow the trend,and continuously promote the transformation and development of archival profession.The fourth part is about the measures and development direction of improving the career development of archives under the threshold of archives governance,pointing out the promotion strategy of archives career development under the threshold of archives governance from three aspects: updating the concept of archives career development,improving professional skills and services and ensuring the stability of the development environment of archives,and finally putting forward the development direction of the future archival profession from the perspective of practicality and long-term,aiming to provide long-term and feasible reference suggestions for the sustainable development of the archival profession from the perspective of archives governance.The fifth part is the conclusion,summarizing the previous points,pointing out the shortcomings of this paper,and proposing future research. |
