British publishing industry has a long history,along with the digital technology reform and economic globalization,its development momentum and international influence is still rising,and occupies an important territory in the world publishing industry,as one of the most famous independent publishing houses in Britain,in the information age,its momentum of development is still undiminished.Bloomsbury Publishing has made a lot of important achievements in the publishing industry.This paper takes Bloomsbury Publishing as the research object,collects and collates the publishing situation and strategic measures of Bloomsbury Publishing in the past 20 years,and combines the official website report and many foreign documents,this paper studies and analyzes the development of Bloomsbury Publishing,in order to forecast the trend and direction of Bloomsbury Publishing in the future,and to provide reference for our country’s publishing industry to integrate into the international market.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part is an overview of the early development of Bloomsbury Publishing.By combing through a large number of development history of Bloomsbury Publishing and the publication of Harry Potter series,the initial industry is summarized,and at the same time,it provides a referable historical basis for the subsequent analysis of strategic measures.The second part is Bloomsbury’s distinctive features of its development.It reviews the development of Bloomsbury Publishing over the years,and summarizes its characteristics as global market expansion,digital publishing transformation,layout of professional and academic publishing,digital resource growth strategy,adherence to financial cooperation and innovation.The third part is the analysis of Bloomsbury Publishing Group’s globalization strategy,digital resource growth strategy,digital publishing strategy,brand marketing strategy four development strategies.The fourth part is about the existing problems in the development of Bloomsbury Publishing.By summarizing and analyzing the data of its financial reports for many years,it sorts out three types of risks and challenges that may exist in Bloomsbury Publishing.The fifth part is the promotion path of Chinese Publishing Going Out.Based on the above analysis of the development process of Bloomsbury,the author summarizes the enlightenment brought by its strategic experience to the publishing industry in our country and conclude it into four paths.
