| With the progress of society and the change of the times,various domestic TV stations have been broadcasting a multitude of variety shows,emerging one after another.These shows have greatly enriched and enhanced people’s spiritual lives.In 2018,CCTV relaunched the cultural variety show ’Everlasting Classics,’ which has aired for five seasons.The show is rooted in traditional culture,deepens integration thinking,and adopts the form of ’Composing Music for Poetry’ to match time-honored Chinese poetry with the contemporary spirit.It provides the audience with a rich cultural imagination and a profound immersive experience,offering high-quality content.As a result,the audience can unconsciously embrace mainstream values and enjoy the beauty of artistic conception and the rhythm of Chinese poetry.The show aims to inherit traditional culture and inspire inner cultural confidence.Therefore,it is of significant research importance for the author to explain and analyze the operation of the program ’Everlasting Classics.’The article focuses on the following five aspects to discuss the operation mode of’Everlasting Classics.’Chapter One serves as the introduction,which includes the background and significance of the selected topic,the current status of related research,the purpose of the study,and the research method.Chapter Two provides an overview of cultural variety shows,clarifies the concept of cultural variety shows in China,and traces the development of cultural variety shows through four stages: the nascent period,the fumbling period,the development period,and the prosperous period.The third chapter discusses the current status of the operation of the cultural variety show’Everlasting Classics.’ Firstly,it explains the social background of the show’s operation,focusing on aspects such as empowerment,identity,aesthetics,and self-consciousness.Secondly,an analysis is conducted on the components of the program’s operation,including the program organizer,program format,character composition,program mode,program dissemination,and program stage.It is pointed out that the show has transitioned from an’elite temperament’ to a ’popular aesthetics’ and from ’appeal to reason’ to ’appeal to emotion.’Finally,the value orientation of the program’s operation is explored,highlighting its promotion of family sentiment,conveyance of friendship and love,upholding of Chinese heritage,and celebration of inspirational qualities.The program better inherits the cultural values found in classical poetry.The fourth chapter analyzes the operational bottlenecks of the cultural variety show’Everlasting Classics,’ suggesting areas for improvement in program format,program interaction,program promotion,and program content creation.The fifth chapter aims to optimize and upgrade the operation of the cultural variety show’Everlasting Classics.’ The main measures proposed include creating a multi-dimensional and optimized program structure,penetrating mainstream values,increasing interaction between the ’stage’ and the ’audience,’ implementing a comprehensive publicity strategy to lead cultural dissemination,and focusing on telling compelling Chinese stories to extend the cultural brand.The sixth chapter serves as the conclusion,providing a summary of the entire text. |
