A Study On The Related Issues Of Museum Memorial Seal In The Perspective Of Semiotics

At present,museum fever and tourist clocking tropics have stirred up the enthusiasm of the audience to collect museum memorial seals.Online social platforms are pushing this collection clocking craze to new levels.Museum memorial seals are playing an increasingly important role between museums and audiences,and their spin-off collection phenomenon has been gradually noticed by the industry.In the past,people’s understanding of museum memorial seal was limited to ordinary tourist memorial seal,not enough attention and research was paid to the influence and energy it could bring to museums.Therefore,this paper attempts to analyze the design principle and explain the memorial seal collection phenomenon from the perspective of multidisciplinary theory and method in order to fill the gap in the museum memorial seal as a derivative of museum culture.Based on the principle of semiotics,this paper takes more than 200 museum memorial seals collected by the author from 136 museums in China as research objects,selects some valuable ones,combs the existing categories of museum memorial seals,symbol construction and image design form from the two research directions of design and phenomenon of museum memorial seal in China;This paper analyzes the motivation behind the upsurge of memorial seals collecting in Chinese museums with symbolic value theory,visual culture and ritual culture theory derived from semiotics.Since the memorial seal of our country museum is in the stage of development,which brings the flow rate and topic to the museum at the same time,some problems will arise.This paper puts forward some concrete suggestions for the design of seal surface,the pattern of memorial seal collection and the problems in memorial seal collection phenomenon.
