Research On The Factors Affecting Library Anxiet

With the comprehensive development of "cultural China",people’s attention to and understanding of libraries is gradually deepening.Libraries have become an indispensable part of our cultural life.The number of people entering the library every year shows a gradual upward trend on the whole.With the increasing number of library readers,the library is in the process of transforming from traditional library to intelligent library,and the function and use of library are constantly changing.By studying the degree of two different types of library anxiety,this paper summarizes the effective and practical methods.However,at present,since many readers are not familiar with the specific functions and services of the library,library anxiety may occur in some situations,which may cause damage to readers’ physical and mental health to a certain extent.In this paper,open-ended question survey is conducted to understand readers’ opinions and suggestions on the library,so as to effectively summarize and take out the corresponding specific questions of the questionnaire.Thirdly,by combing past domestic and foreign literature,and based on domestic and foreign literature qualitative indicators of anxiety related research,to effectively extract the specific questions of the questionnaire,and summed up the formation of different dimensions of influencing factors.According to the survey results,there are five dimensions of influencing factors,which are: library environment and overall comfort level,readers’ own emotion,library resource platform and knowledge acquisition,librarian’s attitude and personal quality,and library security.Then,according to the specific situations of public libraries and university libraries,two different questionnaires are formed.However,they have the same feature that they all adopt five-component Likert scale scoring rule,pass the reliability and validity analysis,and also meet the corresponding requirements.It can be seen from the survey results that there is a difference in the degree of gender anxiety between public libraries and university libraries.As can be seen from the whole,the overall anxiety level of women in public library is greater than that of men.However,on the contrary,at the level of university library,men’s overallanxiety level is higher than that of women,which may be due to different cognition brought by different environments,and then different influences.From the perspective of age groups,the anxiety degree of the middle-aged group in the public library is obviously greater than that of the young group.Due to the influence of multiple subjective and objective factors,data of the elderly cannot be collected in the survey of the public library.As can be seen from the educational grouping in the university library,the overall anxiety level of the doctor is significantly higher than that of the master and undergraduate groups.This paper focuses on the analysis of the influencing factors of library anxiety,through the public library and university library in two different environments,using the form of reader questionnaire survey,find out the current research situation and status quo of library anxiety.And through the analysis of the current situation and situation of the research to find out the influential factors of readers’ library anxiety,further put forward the countermeasures to reduce the probability of library anxiety,and put forward effective suggestions for the future research of related content.
