| Media convergence has developed into the 3.0 era.Traditional print media’s golden age has gone.Faced with the impact of the internet,traditional print media must adapt to new challenges and actively transform to seek greater living space.JP Group is the most influential fashion media group in China,and it is also an organization of "public institution managing as enterprise".In response to the rapid change of market environments,JP Group urgently needs to undergo an organizational change to build an efficient organization,establish a matching organizational culture,structure,process,personnel and technology,thus ensuring efficient implementation of its strategy.In the context of media convergence 3.0,this article selects JP Group as a study case.Based on the competitive landscape of media in China and from the perspective of management,this article discusses the following points referring to theories of organizational change,process reengineering and contingency: First,by analyzing the internal and external environment of JP Group based on PEST analysis and the five elements of organizational change model,the article clarifies the current status of JP Group.Secondly,by using a questionnaire and in-depth interviews,the article analyzes the deep-seated problems and explores the driving forces behind organizational change.Thirdly,based on Kast’s organization change theory and using the five elements of organizational change model,this article designs an organizational change strategy for JP Group from the aspects of organizational structure,process,personnel,culture,and innovation.Finally,this article proposes support strategies to ensure the successful implementation of organizational change.This article presents a well-designed organizational change strategy for JP Group in the background of media convergence 3.0.The strategy includes five aspects:organizational structure rebuilding,organizational process reengineering,organizational personnel optimization,organizational culture remodeling,and organizational innovation.The goals of organizational change are to achieve resource efficiency,business collaboration,precision of personnel management,internal motivation empowerment,and the intelligentialize of management,so as to comprehensively improve JP Group’s existing problems and develop into a more influential media group.And this will help it gain a competitive advantage in the future as well.The JP Group has been a pioneer in the industry and has led its development.This study has a certain representativeness in the industry and it is the exploration of spontaneous innovation in enterprise management and development by traditional print media.It provides new thoughts of organizational change for organizations that are in transition and it also has great practical reference. |
