| Digital hoarding refers to the behavior that individuals continue to hoard excessive digital content related to themselves, and are reluctant to delete and organize, which ultimately affects the efficiency of personal information organization and reproduction. As one of the products of the digital age,the frequency of digital hoarding behavior in the population increases with the enhancement of people ’s data mining ability and digital storage awareness. The research on the influencing factors of personal digital hoarding behavior is helpful to reveal the mechanism between the influencing factors of personal digital hoarding behavior, provide direction for individuals to identify and improve digital hoarding behavior, and provide reference for avoiding the adverse effects of digital hoarding behavior on personal information management. It is of great significance for individuals to better organize information and improve the efficiency of digital resource management.Digital hoarding behavior is the result of many factors such as the actual situation of the individual and the surrounding environment. There is a complex causal relationship between various influencing factors and digital hoarding behavior.Based on the push-pull-anchoring theory, psychological contract theory and social cognitive theory, this paper puts forward eight influencing factors of personal digital hoarding behavior, such as perceived cost, value uncertainty, information loss, information demand, emotional sustenance, perceived benefit,self-efficacy and social influence, from the three perspectives of thrust factor, pull factor and anchoring factor. As the independent variable of the model, the willingness of digital hoarding as the intermediary variable of the model, and the digital hoarding behavior as the dependent variable of the model, the theoretical model of the influencing factors of personal digital hoarding behavior is constructed. The study found that all the hypothetical paths in the SEM model passed the significance test, and the influence degree of the independent variables on the dependent variables was ranked as follows: social impact > information loss >emotional sustenance > perceived cost > perceived benefit > self-efficacy >information demand > value uncertainty;the influence degree of independent variables on dependent variables in SEM-ANN model is ranked as follows:information demand > self-efficacy > social impact > information loss > emotional sustenance > perceived cost > perceived benefit > value uncertainty.By comparing and analyzing the goodness of fit between SEM model and SEM-ANN model and the path effect between model variables,it is found that the goodness of fit and path effect of SEM-ANN model are more construable and closer to social reality. The conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The results of SEM model test are all established, which verifies the scientificity of using PPM theory to divide the influencing factors of personal digital hoarding behavior. The individual ’s digital hoarding behavior is affected by the combined effects of push factors, pull factors and anchoring factors. The factors that promote individuals to deviate from digital simplicity(push factors)will positively promote the individual’s digital hoarding willingness. The pull factors and anchoring factors also promote the individual ’s digital hoarding willingness, and the individual ’s digital hoarding willingness further positively affects the digital hoarding behavior;(2)Information needs,self-efficacy and social influence are important predictors of personal digital hoarding intention and digital hoarding behavior;(3)SEM model and SEM-ANN model have good fitting effect, indicating that there is a complex relationship between personal digital hoarding behavior and its influencing factors, and the linear and nonlinear problems between variables should be paid attention to in the subsequent research on digital hoarding related topics. |
