| There is an increasing variety of social media. All kinds of apps have social functions. The social circle has shifted from offline to online, and life is filled with various social media.Users play different roles in the complicated social life, assume corresponding role expectations, and are constrained by the behavior of corresponding roles. In the context of social media, the user’s social behavior is not limited to the similarities and differences of time and space. It can be on line at any time, and the social circle can be juxtaposed, called and responded at any time.Users need to play multiple roles at the same time and switch between different roles, resulting in multiple role pressure problems: role ambiguity caused by the complexity of multiple role expectations, role conflict caused by the inconsistent behavior constraints of different roles, and role overload caused by multiple linear role expectations. The role pressure they are under is not the same as the traditional paper media era. This study explores the impact of role stress on social media fatigue and its behavior from the perspective of role stress, summarizes four dimensions of user activity through the concept of user activity, analyzes the role of role stress on social media fatigue and user activity, and explores the intermediary effect of social media fatigue on role stress and user activity,And further explore the buffering effect of online social support on role stress and social media fatigue. The conceptual model of this paper is constructed on the basis of the Stressor-Strain-Outcome framework, and 14 research hypotheses are proposed.978 valid questionnaires are collected through the questionnaire survey, and empirical analysis is conducted using SPSS and AMOS.The results show that role ambiguity, role conflict and role overload all positively affect social media fatigue, and negatively affect user activity; The mediating role of social media fatigue between role stress and user activity has been tested;Online social support has a moderating effect between role ambiguity, role conflict and social media fatigue, and can buffer some negative effects of role stress and social media fatigue. The conclusion of this study enriches the research perspective of influencing factors and behavior results of social media fatigue, explores the buffering effect of online social support on role stress and negative effects of social media fatigue, which has certain reference significance for future social media research, and also has important enlightenment for the follow-up development of social media software. |
