Research On Regional Image In External Ecological Environment Issues

The ecological environment has been the focus of the international community in recent years.Since China put forward the goal of "double carbon",this issue has become even more hot.The ecological environment is related to a country’s national interests,foreign exchanges and national image.It opens up a new perspective,puts forward new requirements and gives new content to the shaping of regional image.Starting with the research background that ecological environment issues have become global public issues,this study explains that ecological environment,as a common political and diplomatic discourse system,is an important factor affecting Hainan’s regional image.Through content analysis and participatory observation,this paper describes the language style,reporting tendency and discourse production of Hainan’s foreign media "Hainan Touch" in ecological environment reporting as a whole.It is found that "Hainan Touch" tries to create a Hainan image that vigorously protects wild animals and plants and actively explores the green development path with positive orientation in external ecological environment reporting,but in actual communication activities,The constructed image of Hainan is relatively flat,and the effect of ecological protection policy implementation and the way of innovative green development are not well presented.The limited theme and single value orientation also affect the effectiveness of international communication.Based on this,this study puts forward some thoughts and suggestions on shaping the regional image of eco-environmental reports,providing communication ideas for Hainan to create an eco-livable,environment-friendly regional image,providing reference for Hainan’s international communication,and providing a case for China’s international communication research.
