Robot is a popular research object in the field of artificial intelligence.With the improvement of science and technology level and people’s living quality,the research target in this field has gradually shifted from industry to life application.Humanoid robot plays an important role in life.Its appearance provides a lot of convenience for people’s life.It can complete humanoid actions or behaviors such as voice dialogue and sports.NAO robot is a humanoid robot popular among universities and research institutes in China.For young people facing great social pressure and busy work,NAO humanoid robot with voice interaction,emotional communication,behavioral companionship and other functions can take care of and accompany the elderly and children at home,to solve their most fundamental needs.Therefore,it is of certain significance to study the robot technology with escort function.Aiming at the humanoid features of NAO robot,this paper designs an intelligent escort robot and proposes an autonomous escort scheme.Its main functions include:(1)Based on the voice system of NAO robot,this paper proposes a scheme for barrier-free voice communication between the robot and the target user.By calling the API interface provided by Baidu Intelligent Cloud,speech recognition and intelligent question and answer are realized,and the speech dialogue algorithm is optimized to realize the automatic awakening,sound source location,automatic opening and ending of the conversation functions of NAO robot.And the voice dialogue function throughout the escort process.In addition to being able to communicate with each other,the robot can also use voice commands to complete specific instructions.(2)Based on the vision system of NAO robot,this paper proposes a scheme for the robot to recognize the target person and actively communicate with them emotionally.Through facial feature recognition and model training,NAO robot can accurately identify target users and initiate greetings and conversations.(3)Based on the behavior control system of NAO robot,this paper proposes a scheme for the robot to complete the fetching command of the target user and avoid obstacles during walking during the escorting process.The NAO robot arm and sensor are used to realize intelligent obstacle avoidance,and the visual system is used to recognize and grasp the target object.(4)According to the design of the above scheme,the voice communication between the NAO robot and the target user is taken as a bridge in the escorting process,so as to realize the complete escorting function.First,the target user is identified by awakening the NAO robot.Secondly,after confirming the target user,the voice communication and voice initiation command are started.Voice communication aims at emotional communication with target users,and the receiving and completion of voice commands aims at providing other needs for target users.In this paper,the escort function test of the actual NAO robot has been completed,and the autonomous escort function of the humanoid robot has been realized,which provides certain reference value for the innovative application of NAO robot.
