From A Semiotic Perspective A Study On The Construction Of Collective Memory In "The Mausoleum Of The Great Tang Emperor"

As a product of a specific society,collective memory is a process of continuous construction and inheritance,and plays an important role in promoting national consensus and cohesion.Therefore,in order to achieve the strategic goal of "cultural power" and lead the whole society to form correct values,the construction of collective memory is a necessary link,and the media is an important carrier of memory.Since the beginning of the 21st century,the documentary medium has continued to grow and develop,and documentaries of various historical themes have appeared,which play an important role in enhancing national identity and cultural identity,and are undoubtedly an important means of constructing collective memory.In recent years,under the background of the new media communication environment and the rapid development of new technologies,a historical-themed documentary that mainly focuses on animation has begun to enter the public eye,which not only provides a new creative path for the documentary field,but also creates a new one.A new form of historical and cultural heritage.This study takes the historical animation documentary "The Mausoleum of the Tang Emperor" as the research object,adopts the method of literature research and text analysis,and explores how it completes the construction of collective memory from the perspective of semiotics.The full text is mainly divided into five parts: the first part sorts out the related research and development of historical animated documentaries and collective memory,and understands that historical animated documentaries can inherit history to carry collective memory,and also determines the semiotics The research path to start with.The second part introduces the main content of "The Mausoleum of the Great Tang Emperor",its advantages in comparison with other works of the same type,and then discusses the feasibility of its symbols to construct collective memory.The third part analyzes the documentary’s construction of collective memory from two aspects of language and non-language symbols.The fourth part digs deep into the process of constructing memory by the symbols of "The Mausoleum of the Tang Emperor" as a whole.The fifth part summarizes the full text and realizes that "The Mausoleum of the Tang Emperor" has important practical significance.This study finally reveals the positive function of historical animated documentaries in promoting the public to remember history and inherit culture,and believes that through the construction of collective memory,it ultimately awakens the audience’s identity and identity at the national,cultural and historical levels,and is also of enlightening significance for the creation of historical documentaries in the future.
