The traditional cultural variety shows bear such responsibilities.In 2017,it was called "the first year of classical cultural variety shows" by the industry.After going out of the environment of original variety show creation,homogenization,and entertainment carnival,the traditional cultural variety shows broke through with immersive experience,innovative form expression,and profound cultural connotation.The National Treasure,as the representative of the popular culture boom,was frequent.By virtue of this,traditional cultural variety shows constantly reshape the cultural and spiritual life of the audience,imperceptibly guide and influence people’s value orientation and behavior norms,reach the spiritual realm of transcending secular ideals,and realize the significance of cultural education.Glory is Back Dunhuang,which was launched on November 18,2020,is a cultural variety show made by IQIYI.The program selected Dunhuang as the content theme,and Dunhuang as the origin,radiating and focusing on many fields such as Dunhuang cultural heritage,food and clothing,folk culture,cultural and museum resources,bringing the audience a deep immersion experience,and the program won a double harvest of public praise and ratings.Then,the second season of Glory is Back Luoyang,launched on September 15,2021,took the city as the theme again,and told about the millennium style of Luoyang,a famous cultural city,from the root of culture to the prosperous scene,from the decryption of historical figures to ancient tombs,and continued the mode of the first season,presenting the details of Luoyang’s millennium culture to the audience.One side of the water and soil nourishes one side of the people,and one side of the people cultivates one side of the culture.China has a vast territory and rich resources.Each city has different cultural heritage.Taking the city as the theme is relatively rare among the cultural variety shows at present.As an online synthesis,on the basis of theme innovation,high-quality visual and audio presentation and planning are worth studying,and provide a reference case for the development of cultural variety shows in the future.From the perspective of cultural identity,this paper analyzes the cultural content and construction path of cultural identity of the two seasons of Glory is Back,and takes the Douban platform to process and analyze the short comments of the two seasons of programs to explore the recognition effect of the program audience.This study suggests that the Glory is Back series of programs promotes the audience’s overall cultural cognition in the construction of audio-visual symbols,completes the transmission of program values under the guidance of narrative strategies,and constructs the audience’s cultural memory through ceremonial dissemination.At the same time,through the analysis of audience feedback data,it is found that the accumulation of traditional cultural knowledge and the recognition of cultural values among the audience have been enriched at the cognitive level;At the cultural and emotional level,it awakens the audience’s sense of responsibility for cultural protection and inheritance,activates the audience’s cultural pride and confidence;At the level of cultural action,it has stimulated the audience’s interest in experiencing cultural cities and enhanced their demand for supplementary cultural knowledge.The series of Glory is Back not only conveys the beauty of culture,but also arouses the audience’s sense of cultural responsibility by paying attention to the humanistic scenery,and enhances the audience’s cultural consciousness and cultural identity. |
