After the promulgation of the "Management Measures for Equity Incentive in Listed Companies" in 2016,more and more listed companies have implemented equity incentive plans,which have had varying degrees of impact on their innovation and operational capabilities.As an important strategic industry in China,the software and information technology service industry not only has fierce product competition among enterprises,but also has increasingly fierce competition between executives and core technical talents.Whether the equity incentive plans launched by enterprises in different periods can fully mobilize the enthusiasm of employees,optimize corporate governance,and thereby enhance the value and operational performance of the enterprise has become a key content that has to be planned in advance in the industry.This article selects Jiadu Technology Company as the research object,which has a certain position and representation in the software and information technology service industry.This article first analyzes the specific content and implementation motivation of the three equity incentive plans implemented by Jiadu Technology based on relevant literature and theory,combined with the current situation of equity incentive in the entire industry.Using the case study method and comparative analysis method,comprehensively analyze the changes in the company’s financial performance,market response,and non-financial indicators before and after the three equity incentives,and then comprehensively evaluate the impact of the three equity incentives implemented by Jiadu Technology on the company.Through research,it is found that high technical requirements and rapid R&D and innovation are industry characteristics of the software and information technology service industry.However,improving R&D and innovation capabilities requires the support of talents.Therefore,in order to attract and stabilize talents,the industry as a whole has issued a large number of equity incentive plans,with a high coverage and success rate of implementation.For Jiadu Technology,the first equity incentive had a positive impact on performance,but the last vesting period did not meet the standard;Significant improvement in business performance for the second time;The third time,due to the unreasonable launch time,it failed to meet the standards in the second evaluation period,and ended in failure.On the one hand,the implementation of equity incentives has helped Jiadu Technology optimize its talent structure,strengthen innovative research and development,enhance market competitiveness,and bring certain positive impacts.On the other hand,the short-term incentive effect of equity incentive is good,but the long-term effect is difficult to ensure.Equity incentives should be implemented at the appropriate time in combination with the actual situation of the enterprise and the overall industry background to have a good incentive effect.At last,this paper summarizes the stock right incentive of JD technology,and puts forward some suggestions for improvement,hope to inspire software and information technology services in the implementation of equity incentive plan can be more ideal and long-term incentive effect.
