Research On Slow Variety Shows In An Accelerated Societ

As a new variety show mode,slow variety show has gradually moved from the edge to the mainstream in recent years.In this context,as a "slow pace" program form,slow variety shows,with its unique value of emphasizing life details,emotional resonance and thinking,have become a way for contemporary people to pursue spiritual sustentation and emotional comfort.Combined with Hartmutrosa’s social acceleration critical theory,this paper takes the domestic slow variety show Hello,Life as the research object,takes the content of the first three seasons of the show as the analysis text,uses the text analysis method to interpret the meaning behind the program,and analyzes its specific presentation in slow space and slow time.Finally,the value of the slow variety show in the accelerated society and the realistic dilemma are reflected.It is found that the program Hello Life reflects the following three levels of space construction: exquisite and comfortable material space,spiritual space containing traditional thoughts and social space under emotional resonance and identification.These three different levels reflect the concept of slow space from the shallow to the deep.The construction of time in the program also reflects three aspects: soothing experience to create a sense of synchronization of time,traditional culture to show the depth of time and time changes to highlight the sense of continuity,interlocking to create a sense of slow time.Slow variety shows have important social value in accelerating society,which can act as psychological pressure relief valve,emotional adhesive and content innovation.Although slow variety shows are different from other types of programs due to their "slow" characteristics,they also have realistic difficulties such as "pseudo-freedom" in time,"heterotopia" in space and gentrification orientation.
