The Construction And Change Of Social Cognition Of The Elderly In People’s Daily Since The Reform And Opening Up

In order to turn the challenge of population aging into a development opportunity,and to lay a solid and steady cognitive foundation for our response to the trend of population aging,this study selects the typical period of "reform and opening up to now",which is characterized by rapid economic development and increasingly intensified population aging,and takes the implementation of the family planning policy,the aging society,the promulgation of the two-child policy and the three-child policy as nodes.The whole period is divided into four periods.Taking People’s Daily,the most authoritative Party newspaper of the CPC Central Committee,as the research medium and time as the longitudinal axis,this paper diachronic combs and integrates the news about the elderly in People’s Daily since the reform and opening up.Taking the relevant elements of the framework theory analysis as the horizontal axis and starting from the perspectives of news quantity,news layout,news genre,news theme,news content,news source,news tendency and news discourse,this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the news of the elderly,and then extracts the connotation focus of the elderly in each period,and analyzes the social cognition of the elderly in each period.To clarify the specific change process of social cognition of the elderly since the reform and opening up.Finally,through the cognitive construction theory of Piaget,the paper demonstrates the role of People’s Daily in guiding the construction of social cognition of the elderly,and looks forward to the changing picture of relevant cognition in the future.This study is divided into three parts.The first part of the introduction clarifies the research background and significance,combines with the review of domestic and foreign research,finds the breakthrough point of this research,and then determines the specific research entry point and research method.The second part is divided into four chapters,which divides the whole time period into four periods.Combining with the respective historical background of different time periods,the framework theory of the elderly news in People’s Daily is analyzed in three links,and then the connotation focus of the elderly in different periods and the social cognition of the elderly are summarized.The third part is the conclusion.On the basis of the above specific analysis,it summarizes the social cognition and changes of the elderly since the reform and opening up,and analyzes the methods and paths of People’s Daily in guiding the construction of social cognition of the elderly through the theory of cognitive construction.The research summarizes the process of social cognition and change of the elderly since the reform and opening up: from 1978 to 1982: "The general age group that needs attention";from 1983 to 1999: "The age group that receives increasing social attention";from 2000 to 2015: "The age group that causes policy tilt";from 2016 to now: "The age group that the whole nation values".And People’s Daily plays a role of providing medium and showing results in guiding the construction of social cognition about the elderly.The results of this study can provide a solid cognitive basis for dealing with the aging population and solving the problems of the elderly.
