| Nowadays, more and more young people are adopting the "light food" way of eating, and in the environment of mobile internet and new media, they will make information decisions on "what to eat" and "how to eat" on media platforms. In the mobile Internet and new media environment, they will turn to the media platform to make decisions about what to eat and how to eat.In modern society, personal eating habits can reflect both life status and survival perception. In this paper,we obtained first-hand empirical data through participant observation and semi-structured interviews with 20 respondents who have practiced "light" eating at one time or another in the present. On this basis, this paper takes the "light" diet as a new thing and a new idea, and combines the "innovation-decision" process in Rogers’ innovation diffusion theory, dividing the five stages of cognition, persuasion, decision, implementation and confirmation into two stages: information collection The five stages of cognition, persuasion, decision making, implementation and confirmation are divided into two phases: information gathering and information processing,to show the process of "light food" actors’ thinking and practice through the media. The "light food" actors constantly embed the media in the changing context of their own situations and behaviors, and their media practices deeply influence the change of individual attitudes and behaviors in the "innovation-decision" process. As the practice progresses, the dietary practices also lead to a new understanding of the "light" diet and a new perception of their own lives.More importantly for the individual,"light eating",which initially entered the actors’ lives as something new, took on a new meaning as it was reshaped. |
