In recent years,science and technology has developed rapidly under the trend of economic globalization,and the development of digitalization,information technology and intelligence has promoted the reform of all walks of life.Digital media products are also widely spread.In the face of increasingly fierce market competition,how to break the game is a challenge for every media company.HS Media company,as a regional medium and small cultural media enterprise in Yantai City,Shandong Province,although it has certain advantages in regional influence and market competitiveness,but in the environment of competition between many traditional media and new media,it is also faced with high product homogeneity,lack of content creation ability and other difficulties.Under its own scrutiny,it has realized the importance of clarifying strategic goals and stimulating internal motivation.Based on this,this paper tries to help HS media company to explore the strategic path to achieve long-term development,tap their own potential,obtain competitive advantages,and achieve considerable development.Based on the concept of media convergence,core competition theory and dynamic competitiveness theory,this paper studies the development strategy of HS Media company by using literature research method and investigation method,PEST analysis,Porter’s five forces model,SWOT analysis and QSPM matrix.On the basis of internal and external environment analysis,the vision and goals are defined.Choose the growth strategy as the company’s development strategy.At the same time,it has formulated implementation measures such as consolidating the foundation,enabling resources and promoting the development of the platform through innovation,and carried out strategic support from the aspects of organizational structure,corporate culture,management system,human resources and financial resources.This study not only puts forward the urgent problems to be solved in the process of transformation and development of media companies from traditional business to financial media business,but also explores the strategy and path of transformation and development based on the existing resources and development environment of HS media company.It also constructs a set of development strategy system integrating technology innovation,content production and business upgrading,and uses the deep integration of media thinking to provide a reference for the strategic design of small and medium-sized cultural media companies.This study has important theoretical significance and practical value.In theory,this research enriched the theoretical research of the development strategy of Chinese media enterprises.In practice,this study not only provides theoretical reference for the future development of HS media company,but also helps it formulate development strategy in line with its actual situation and improve its competitiveness in the market competition.At the same time,the research results can provide reference for media enterprises in the same industry,help them understand the development trend and competitive environment in the media industry,and provide reference and inspiration for them to formulate corresponding development strategies.
