The core competition of the media is the competition of talents.As the most important human capital of Old media,journalists and editors play an indispensable key role in the wave of transformation and upgrading.GX Daily Group,as a typical representative of the provincial Old media,shoulders the historical mission of sticking to the position of mainstream public opinion.Before the wave of industry change,the group was facing dual pressures of transformation and upgrading,as well as the loss of core resources.By analyzing the job satisfaction of editorial personnel and timely understanding their work status,it can provide effective reference for optimizing management plans.If it can effectively improve the job satisfaction of editorial staff,restore their work enthusiasm,sense of belonging,and cohesion,and effectively stimulate the vitality and quality of their content creation,it will greatly affect the development trend of GX Daily Group in the new era.Based on previous research,this article will further broaden the perspective of job satisfaction research on the editorial staff of provincial-level media groups.Through a questionnaire survey,an empirical study will be conducted on the job satisfaction of the editorial staff of GX Daily Group.Descriptive analysis will be used to determine that the overall job satisfaction of the editorial staff of the group is at a low level,and analysis will be conducted on work experience,work return,personal development Scoring of the five dimensions of work interpersonal and work management;The differentiation analysis method was used to study the differences in different dimensions among sample groups with different years of work,job status,job positions,and job levels.Based on the conclusion of the questionnaire survey,attribution analysis was conducted on different dimensions and issues,and five aspects that affect the job satisfaction of the group’s editorial staff were extracted and analyzed,namely outdated management systems,lack of scientific and artistic management quality,gaps in incentive mechanisms,poor personal development channels,and employees’ sense of belonging not being stimulated by the group’s housing benefits.Based on the actual analysis of the background and reasons for different influencing factors,corresponding strategies for improving the satisfaction of GX Daily Group’s editorial work are proposed from five aspects: firstly,to fundamentally promote the transformation of human resource management concepts;Secondly,it is necessary to upgrade management tools and skills to create a scientific and artistic management quality;Thirdly,it is necessary to reconstruct incentive mechanisms such as the three fixed plans,enrollment mechanism,personal evaluation and assessment,and year-end distribution adjustment;Fourthly,we need to create a talent echelon and smooth the career development path of editorial personnel;Fifth,we need to establish a brand strategy and enhance employee belonging.
