The memory of the world program is a global archival heritage project initiated by UNESCO.Doing a good job in the publicity and promotion of the memory of the world program is an important part of expanding the influence of the memory of the world program in the new era,and making extensive reference to the practice of publicity and promotion at home and abroad can provide assistance for the good development of the publicity and promotion of memory of the world program in china.Although the construction of the memory of the world in Japan started late,its development speed is relatively fast,and has achieved certain results,which is worthy of analysis and research.Firstly,this paper investigates the current situation of research on the memory of the world program in Japan.Secondly,through the network,literature and other channels,this paper combs the development process of the selection committee for memory of the world of the japanese national commission for UNESCO and briefly introduces the main contents of the seven archival documentary heritage.Based on the perspective of communication,this paper investigates the participants,topic setting,path selection of the publicity and promotion of the memory of the world in Japan,summarizes the advantages and disadvantages and analyzes the worrying phenomenon.Finally,combined with the current situation of the publicity and promotion of the memory of the world in China,this paper puts forward some thoughts from two aspects: improvement of publicity and promotion mechanism and document heritage nomination system at the macro level and the establishment of concept,the accuracy of audience range and the choice of characteristic path at the micro level.
