Research And Enlightenment Of American Internet Archive Web Archive

With the rapid development of the information age,the Internet has become an important platform for social information production,digital activities,and new media dissemination and communication.An important part of the national digital archives resource.The archiving,preservation and open utilization of historical memories with the value of the times are of great significance to the inheritance and promotion of human cultural heritage.At present,the rapid development of the times has led to the explosive growth of web resources.However,its website features such as fast updating,strong interactivity and short life cycle,which make web resources gradually fragmented and perishable,and the permanent preservation of web resources has become an archive of cultural resources.A big problem with exploiting.Therefore,the study of web archiving has theoretical and practical significance,and web archiving is imperative.This paper firstly introduces the current status of theoretical research and practical construction of web page archiving,and on this basis,discusses the perishable properties and archive properties of web pages and the whole life cycle of web page archiving.Secondly,it sorts out the development history of the Internet Archive in the United States and its practice of web resource collection,storage,and utilization,and explores the value of IA in tracing websites,legal documents,academic research,and political propaganda,as well as its Political TV Ad Archive,Archive-It,Featured projects such as Wayforward Machine.Thirdly,while digging deeply into the development highlights of the Internet Archive in the United States in terms of rich collection resources,new technical software,user-centered service concepts,and diverse collaboration and cooperation,it also analyzes IA’s existing archives.The quality threshold is low,The legal environment needs to be improved,the awareness of resource development is weak and other development bottlenecks.On this basis,based on the Web Info Mall project of Peking University in my country,the WICP project of the National Library of China,and the Beijing Municipal Archives Bureau,Ningbo Municipal Archives Bureau,Information Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources,State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power Company four recognized by the State Archives Administration The current situation of web archiving in the pilot project unit of web page resource archiving of the homepage website,discusses the existing “lack of top-level design and overall coordination”,“dislocation of theoretical research and practical development”,“conflict between resource archiving and copyright issues”,“archive” in my country Lack of technology and funding sources” and other development bottlenecks.Finally,starting from the two dimensions of top-level design and micro-planning,and fully drawing on the excellent development experience of the Internet Archive in the United States,it proposes systems,platforms,laws,norms,cooperation,quality,talents,development,technology and funds for the construction of web archives in China.It is hoped to promote the sustainable development of my country’s web archives.
