In the context of the hype around the concept of the metaverse and the continuous development of technology,household VR devices,as portable devices for consumers to access the metaverse and tools for experiencing emerging technologies,are also expanding in the market.However,due to the differences in functionality and positioning between household VR devices and ordinary household consumer products,it is important to clarify the key points of consumer concern for household VR devices and further verify their impact on consumer purchasing factors,which can help manufacturers develop research products,formulate publicity strategies or adjust marketing methods.Based on text mining technology,this study collects 5980 comments from mainstream household VR device reviews,analyzes the key points of consumer concern through word frequency analysis,topic mining,UIE relationship extraction,and word vectorization dimensionality reduction techniques.The positive and negative emotions of consumers towards the experience of household VR devices are analyzed.Based on topic mining,to verify the impact of these themes on consumer purchase willingness,this study introduces the concepts and involvement degrees involved in the results of topic mining into a theoretical analysis model based on the technology acceptance model(TAM),builds a research questionnaire using mature scales,and uses 323 questionnaires collected to import structure equation models.The impact relationships among the constructs are validated by structure equation modeling.The research results show that among various factors,consumers mainly focus on the usage effect and experience of household VR devices,and there are significant differences in the features of positive and negative emotions.By mining the topics,we obtain four main themes that consumers mainly focus on: device appearance,video viewing effect,device interaction function,and manufacturer service quality.In the validation of structure equation models,all paths and involvement degrees except for manufacturer service perception ease of use play a moderating role in the model.Based on the results of this study,we further propose specific strategy recommendations for household VR device manufacturers from three areas: how to improve the user experience of household VR devices;how to strengthen the economy and reliability of household VR devices;and how to optimize household VR device marketing strategies.
