Media Ecology In Rural Areas Of Northwest Hubei Province

The media plays a vital role in the construction of the new countryside.In the rural revitalization strategy,rural communication is an indispensable part.From the perspective of coping with and solving a series of rural communication problems,it is necessary to fully understand and deeply recognize the impact of media ecology problems on China’s rural development,so as to put forward a variety of effective and feasible solutions.Nowadays,media integration is in full swing,and the vigorous development of various media provides new ideas and new methods for media ecology research.However,most researches only focus on economically developed areas,and the researches on media ecology in some rural areas after poverty alleviation are relatively limited.In the process of rural areas entering a new era,new media also plays an important role.In-depth study of rural media ecology will greatly develop the influence of media ecology on the whole society.This study refers to the research principles of media ecology,and makes full use of the five concepts of media ecology,namely,the holistic view of media ecology,the interactive view of media ecology,the balance view of media ecology,the circulation view of media ecology,and the resource view of media ecology to provide a more systematic and comprehensive analysis of the problems of media ecology in rural areas.Through field investigation,interview,data collection and analysis,this study learned about the popularity and use of rural media after poverty alleviation,sorted out and drew relevant conclusions,which provided certain theoretical and practical guidance for solving the ecological problems of rural media.This paper takes the media ecology of rural areas in northwest Hubei as the research object,selects the media use and media ecology problems of farmers in Fangxian county as the case study,and analyzes the media ecology development problems in rural areas of Fangxian county,which is relatively poor in northwest Hubei,so as to explore the media ecology development problems in rural areas in northwest Hubei.Some feasible suggestions are put forward to promote the healthy development of media ecology in rural areas of northwest Hubei.In view of the media ecology problems in the rural areas of northwest Hubei,this study puts forward several optimization strategies.In order to improve the infrastructure of media ecology,the government can improve people’s ability to access media through guidance,policy support and financial input.At the same time,media organizations should timely adjust the development strategy,adopt the development mode suitable for local media ecology,and promote the improvement of media ecology itself.In addition,increasing investment in education and improving the media literacy of the audience will help enhance people’s self-media ability and better adapt to the changing media ecological environment.
